I’d be fine with it if people just learned what “raid logging” meant and didn’t just assume that every change in this game happens for raid loggers because they heard that Ion is one.
Nothing changes, player quality just got worse at the start of Cata.
Nowadays even +2 key can be considered elitist content.
the best part is ion also i guess green lights the maw, torghast and covenants locked so why aren’t they bringing up the fact that raid loggers don’t do that content at all.
Yeah, I brought that up before.
Like raid logging hasn’t really been a viable competitive playstyle since WoD, so I dunno why people assume that the game is designed around raid loggers.

i prefer to do just do keys so we get no bonuses and raid stuff works in keys bye retail all i been waiting to see. every piece of content you do should have the same bonuses all the way around. even freaking people who do dailies or whatever should get something. if they let raiders in keys with shards working i’m done unless we can get the same bonuses in keys cause it tells ya right off if you just do keys you ain’t going nowhere cause the balance of keys will include you having it and basically just ruin key runners which there are many who only do that.
and if you really think about since blizz loves raiding so much just let people doing keys get bonuses and come raid with you and see how long it takes fro you to get mad and realize what dumb thing this is lol. if it goes live bye retail forever. these devs are just flat crap in everything they do 3 straight failed expansions every thing broke taking forever to fix good job.

I for one thank you, because I’ve not been on the ptr, and this is extremely good information for me to know. If this change stays, there is absolutely no chance I will play this tier. If it were up to me, either all gear would be confined to the content it was received from, or all gear would be equal. I’m tired of mythic raiders in my keys. Plain and simple.

Truly we should stay in our lane, It’s ridiculous I’d want to expand outside my primary form of enjoyment and do things like keys. It’s truly disgusting how people are doing other forms of content these days.

You know Timbae, I don’t know how you sleep at night knowing that you’re ruining the experience for players like Average. Moments like this are what truly bring the game down.
Don’t check my profile but sometimes I like to go into LFR and ruiiinnnnn experience by doing 7x the healing of the 2nd strongest healer in the group.
I also raid lead for them and have them treat the run like a proper raid.
Don’t tell anyone though

other content is fine until only one form of content decides on how your side content is balanced and the fact people who only do keys just won’t get invited. you know and i know it’s just crap if bonuses work outside of raids. has nothing to do with you being a raider i could care less who’s doing it but this is a pretty dumb thing as it sits.

Why do you think raiders caused this huh? I’m not sure why you are trying to scapegoat the entire “”““raid loggers””“” community of being responsible for this change. We had to do PvP this season to get gear for raiding, how many threads did you see from Raiders calling for the heads of the PvP community for having a rewarding system for gearing up while they axed the amount of gear you get from raids?
I made threads calling for the removing of the cap for valor points because I believe everyone should have a path of gear up regardless of you content but these sooky la la pity parties are pathetic and this thread is full of crybabies.
If you’re trying to garner support this is not how you do it.
Your numbers are exactly right, according to the data we have available right now (except I believe that the frost damage bonus will apply to all targets for 20 seconds, not just the new target that you tagged).
However, this is going to create a larger gap than just having non-optimized secondary stats on a few slots, or having a trinket that is just great but not the absolute BiS.
Pure M+ and PvP players are probably going to want 5 pieces of raid gear with shards, and then fill in the other slots.
Hardcore players go bonkers just for a 1% increase in overall performance, and this is going to amount to much more than that in M+ and PvP situations, with all those low-health targets available.

Hardcore Pvpers and M+ guys funded my Longboi last tier with wanting to buy slappers, fonts and Nzoth weapons.
