for the game the way there is in casual battleground pvps where you can look at it AFTERWARDS. Maybe that would stop all the annoying people who spam Details and Skada meters all the time instead of actually just playing mechanics and thinking of the team instead of their dps score.
No it wouldn’t. If anything it would make the problem worse.

I am most definitely confused.
Things I haven’t seen in ages. No one does that, unless someone is saying something dumb, and you want to point out they’re dumb (like “DK you need to interrupt” when I’m literally top of the interrupt meter and my interrupt is on perma CD, and I’m using Grip as a ghetto 2nd interrupt on top of it).

They’re probably linking you the details because your DPS is extremely low.
I don’t know how to sugar coat it so I won’t, it’s been a long, long time since I’ve seen such a disparity between players that have actual DPS… and those that are literally doing almost nothing helpful.
It’s probably the gear situation?
I don’t trust Blizzard to make an accurate damage meter. Details works just fine. Also, the only reason to link the meter is to shame somebody.

I’ve seen people do it at least 3 times this past week. And it’s not to point out my low dps, it’s to point out THEIR high dps.
I mean, there’s a big tell-tale sign : “This user’s public profile is hidden.”
Hardly anyone who actually clears a smidgen of content hides their profiles.
Nah, haven’t seen that in ages. Even ran LFR every week because the mog is sweet and haven’t seen that. Even ran some Heroics for the weekly inn quests, never seen it.

Gotcha, figured it was the usual attack that happens when you tell someone an unpleasant truth, like e.g. maybe they’re not playing the game well.
We all started there. Heck, I started this expansion playing like I had in Legion and parsing trash tier.
The only way to improve is to look at the data and work on ways to get better by emulating players that are doing better.
Details I imagine can be hacked like anything else.

Yeah, but it way too much work to do it that way. You got to click a few more times and stuff; it might as well be rocket surgery.
Please look up my guild, all those characters are mine. I have been trying to but lately all I get is the 500 Internal Server Error.
Basically, at that point you know what you’ll find anyway : not capped on renown, not cleared anything except maybe LFR, no PvP, low gear, complaining about something no one else ever encounters.
