Guys, I’m not ashamed to admit, when Sylvanas shot me that side-look as she was outing Baine and Zelling, I felt the icy grip of terror squeeze my soul.
1) I am now fully assuming she knows I helped Saurfang.
2) I am assuming I’m alive and free because if she loses track of where Saurfang is or what he’s doing, she can just have me followed, or worst case just torture it out of me.
3) She knows full well I helped Baine and Zelling.
4) She shot me that look purely out of wanting the pleasure of seeing me squirm.
5) My days are numbered. I’m useful to the cause and the one who helped several of the leaders around that campfire even have their spot in the Horde (Thallysra, Geya’rah, Mayla…), but the moment she doesnt need me anymore, there will be retribution for my betrayal. I will not be surprised if I get an unexpected invite to Orgrimmar and walk into a room full of Dark Rangers as the door shuts behind me and Sylvanas makes me choose to betray Saurfang or be jailed/killed.
On the bright side if she jails me, I’m certain Flynn and Rexxar will break me out.
Flynn: “This is kind of our thing now.”
Rexxar: “It’s actually really fun…”

On the other hand I think it could go with not telling Nathanos either. I’ve helped out Saurfang and she of course doesn’t believe me. At that point she has a spy watching my every move. I then proceed to help out Baine, since I’m being spied upon she finds out and jails him. Why would she not jail me? Because at some point I’ll lead her to Saurfang. She’ll then know where Saurfang is because of me. So in short she’s using me to get to him.

That’s certainly a possibility. I’m just pointing out that we don’t actually know that the sailors told her anything, or that she even knew of Baine’s involvement before he confessed.
Yeah, we’re not a universally hated traitor like Baine.
Funny thing is, if you actually side with her in the Saurfang questline … she quite literally tells you that’s why she didn’t want you involved in the finale. She’s using your political influence and reputation as political bargaining chips; and she’s trying to preserve it for now. Its just like she likely is using Baine’s rep with the Alliance to take suspicion of her sleeper agent Derek.
Zelling was no longer a tool of any worth; Arresting Baine further reinforces the idea that she didn’t want him to rescue Derek, and puts an effective leash on the Tauren factions of the Horde; you the PC still have value as a tool outside of prison.
She WISHES she could arrest me.
She’s welcome to try though…
