I mean the issue is how reliable something is and how often they can do it

If you don’t get blasted by the 10 second ele setup then they do nothing for what like 3 minutes and unless they’re playing with an aff lock they just lose

There’ll always be cheese strats that only work once

Literally any disturbance during the Stormkeeper/Spirit Walkers or the hard cast Lava Burst completely screws things up for them.

  • They run the improved SWG for kick protection, so stun either the Stormkeeper or LB and SWG will fall off, making the LB kickable. Now they have to stand there and hard cast LB, making them even more susceptible to disruption.
  • Skyfury has normal totem health (none), kill it immediately if it’s in line of sight.
  • Use your biggest defensive and you’re most likely alive since vers/health are so high.
  • Spell reflect if you’re a spec/class that has it. The way they chain the LB into Ascendance makes it so it all gets eaten, not just the first LB overload chain.
  • Lastly, it’s an Ele Shaman. Take judgement of the Pure and cleanse your butt off.

Denounce, if it helps you feel any better about yourself. Look up Ele Shaman One Shot on YT. When you see the UI of the dude that only makes videos about that build; you’re going to feel much better about yourself.

This isn’t particularly true, I got 100-0d in literal 1 sec from it while in a CA charge animation on mugambala lol. I couldn’t help but laugh at how slow the game is but that can still happen at times.

Probably a high roll since the number of procs aren’t guaranteed. Although the following lightning bolts after will make sure the 100-0 happens. But that’s so many GCDs that I’d sure hope at least one person on the receiving end’s team do something to mitigate the damage.

Back to it be so telegraphed, the time to react by the time the lightning bolts are getting thrown out is immense.

This was the beginning of the game. Trapped healer with hoj on aff lock, lock trinket ports to top of mugambala, I found a path to CA charge to it and got 100-0d in charge animation lol. Wacky game.

Got caught by it in 1 game in a demo/ele mirror of all things.

Proceeded to a rematch a few games later and completely ran them into the ground as we were aware and my ele was doing 3 times his pressure all game long.

Its cheese, and once you know you know.

It’s crazy people are actually defending this cheese because it takes 5 globes to set up. It takes sp like 10 globes to set up for 1/5th the burst. :boom:

I mean, it probably shouldn’t exist, but it being a thing isn’t really that big of a deal.

I think having all your eggs in one basket is fine it just shouldnt be a split second kill. Theres at least one wizard every expansion that plays around a 3 minute cooldown and turtles between. But its generally not under 1 second for the kill.

If warriors couldnt spend minutes stacking overpower HFBs without getting nerfed idk why excusing 10s of prep is here. Wasnt this demoniclilys angle on BFA tyrant or something. Or early SL demonology oneshots or something. Its not ok for demo lock to ramp a 6 spell wombo combo but meatball canon fire away? Just seems like playing favourites.

Personally I dont think the telegraphing or ramping is relevant at all. Dilute the gimmick. Keep the damage just make it take marginally longer even not 0.6s

Why though

You just kill the skyfury dispel the flame shock do anything and their bang does nothing then they don’t exist until the next one which unlike vesper isn’t 30 seconds or something

Or maybe it is idk the build seems garbo unless maybe you play with an aff

Blizzard allows cheesy one shots to occur depending on how many the globals it takes to “set it up”.

There’s no excuse for damage being put out that quick. Shouldn’t happen, ever.
Blizz needs to do better but we all know that won’t happen.
