Nah you have logs. That’s why I asked first 
WCL shows logs for any character that has had a run uploaded. People do, weirdly, log LFR so you have some logs here and there from various fights. Maybe like 1/3-1/4 of your LFR kills are logged.
You can disconnect your character from 3rd party data sites, which removes you from WCL searches and things like Raider.io. However this doesn’t remove your data from other people’s runs if they can find a run you were in with other means.

Very rarely, if not ever. You’re good. I’ll take a snoop at Shadow Priests I see if I’m bored but again never with the intent of malice. Logs are a fantastic tool for players to learn and improve, as well as a great data source to better understand balance and tuning of the current raids.
It’s intentional to keep us all on the gearing treadmill for longer…
That’s why they lowered drop rates significantly across the board in m+. They want you to spam them so their engagement score looks better during their corporate meetings.
Except bliz also tuned and paced the crest system in such a way that it was possible to have a 441 at minimum in every single slot by week 3 and at latest the resources to do so by week 5. This is the fastest gearing has ever been…

I’ve been trying to explain that, but he keeps obsessing over making one helm with Sparks, as if that’s the only thing holding him back. 
The OP is in 408-411 gear for the most part. Anything higher is better for him. Plus the fact that he can pick up Crests using the tokens, or his beloved Sparks.

You need the right base piece first. It can take a long time to get the “right” piece.
It still has to drop or you have to get it from the vault.
You also have to grind a ton of dungeons to get the amount of upgrade emblems.
What do you mean sparks are of no concern?
We are at 6 now. (More if you bought extra spark splinters with vault coins).
That is 6 pieces of 424 without even needing a crest, than can then be recrafted once you get some crests from being geared enough to play the content that rewards next track crests.
If i was gearing an alt or new toon, 1st thing I would focus on is to craft all non tier slots at this point in the season.

Use LFR for the 3 Wyrms you won’t be able to get anywhere else (unless you do mid-high m+/raids).
Use the 5 heroics to try for a useful Champion piece from the chest, not a Drake Crest.
“Researchers under fire” = at least 4 Drakes per week, each Champion piece starts at 415, 3 drakes is enough for getting a Champion piece to 424.
My paladin has won 2 pieces of gear and 1 tailoring pattern since LFR first launched for DF.

LFR does not give Wyrm Crests. And again, I already linked what you can get from Vault Tokens— twice.
OP is trying to upgrade gear, not RNG the system some more, when Drake Crests are useful now.
Groups don’t run this anymore. Not even in group finder.
7 LFR Boss Kills = 3 Wyrms from the Vault.
Unless he’s doing so to farm M+, Champion gear (start ilvl 415, end ilvl 437) is going to be infinitely more useful than a single drake crest (up to ilvl 424 on upgrades).
They do every hour. Sometimes multiple 40 man raids fill.
I do it with all my 13 chars every week, and it’s a full run, any day of the week, even at low movement hours, like 2-3 AM EST.
The groups start forming 10 minutes earlier.
So once more…
Unless it replaces the 430ish pieces he has and then it’s not useful and he wasted the chance at a Crest that he absolutely needs.
I haven’t seen any groups in weeks, not even in group finder.
Try looking for groups 10 minutes earlier, or make your own.
They fill completely, and very fast.
It’s guaranteed 4 drakes for the week.
And it’s better to roll the dice for that 415-437 RNG than to get a drake that will only last up to 424, since you can easily get 4 from Researchers.
If we couldn’t, you’d have a point.
Tried, didn’t find much, most groups failed miserably.
Not in my experience and not with how RNG would just waste that week, imo.
