And it was Nerfed because of this. Moved from a 45-second CD to 2-min. – I don’t want PCT nerfed in the same way, but it’d be nice to have our’s un-nerfed since the mechanic that “justified” the nerf has been removed.
Edit: FYI Mass Dispel can be used on this week mechanic as well… but again its a 2-min CD and PCT still exists as a 45-second CD, which still means Shaman’s have the advantage.
At least we can use ours every other pull… i guess…
Yeah i can see that. I focus much less on damage bc im constantly trying to set up a ramp to make sure no one dies where as in the past I found myself doing a lot more weaving. Just a bummer because I really enjoy rdruid. But yeah i do feel the arthritis coming after a run from mashing keys lmao. All good either way. Just how it is atm. Maybe the anni patch will help idk
So far what’s been shared for the anniversary event will make our spot healing better, but it’s doing little to improve our AOE healing and mastery interaction. Abundance reducing the cast time for Regrowth might actually help with getting more time to do other stuff, assuming you can get by without having Cenarion Ward. Getting a free Nourish from Regrowth will also be nice. We’re still going to be keeping Rejuvenation up on everything and using Regrowth to do a lot of the heavy lifting, but our Regrowth is going to be noticeably better.
Overall I think it’s going to be basically the same for the predictable heavy group damage, but the healing in between will be better. Whether that’s enough to shake the current perception of resto druid being the bottom of the barrel, I’m not really sure.
TL;DR this guy is a pres evoker who has timed all 11s trying to do 12s with pugs and getting declined, and even says if he wasn’t a healer he’d probably only take rshams too.
Please can we get some healer balance in M+ Blizzard and give other healing specs better kits for mechanics
People are really dumb in the first place to only wanted to play the meta of the season , i play a resto shammy as my main since legion because i like the playstyle and lore not because they are supposedly good this xpac , if i will prefer a holy priest i will not care about them being less good than other healer i will play what i like and that it … i really hate this mentality of playing a class just because it better or more easy to play
Elemental and enhance can dispel curse and remove poisons, paladins can also dispel/remove poisons.
I like what blizzard has done. Remember when everyone had to use thier kits to succeed, you couldn’t just pull mutiple packs, heck you couldn’t even pull some single packs without cc.
Shaman healing is just way better in m+ too. It’s hard to believe they were gonna nerf hpal again when they already do less healing. Totemic shaman is probably the most braindead healer there has ever been. You’re actually just waiting for the next damage event spamming whatever damage ability and you drop a totem or two and maybe push a chain heal or a healing surge that heals for WAY MORE than any heal hpal has.
The only downside to shaman is you go through mana like crazy and it’s boring.
It blows my mind that there can be specs like holy priest with 3 aoe heal buttons and they all do absolutely nothing and shamans just auto heal people or even at my ilvl of 607 heal for over 2 million with a healing surge. My holy paladin has no heals that big and I guess someone could argue well they’re instant and I would say well they’re definitely not, wog takes 3 holy power which takes a while to generate.
It is indeed boring. I dropped my resto shaman for my resto druid.
I went from playing the best healer in the game to the worst healer in the game just because I dislike resto shaman’s passive “totems do all the work for you” gameplay.
If they made it personal, then Blizzard would absolutely have to make sure every class could manage the affix. This would be a plus not a negative nor would it exclude a class.
It’s the healing rain totem that costs so much mana. I think it’s bugged or something but if you don’t drop it nearly as much you’ll do better on mana.
I try not to use it that much. It’s your HERO talent though so like why is it 240,000 mana? And then the spell you get after it is another 240,000 mana? That’s insane. Resto shaman is like just try and cast the bare minimum stuff without people dying or go oom in 15 seconds.
Yea it is crazy that healers still have these constraints of mana and then you have hpal where you can’t find anything worth to even cast that costs mana.
Sitting at 90% + mana on hpal and everyone is dead lol
