Why is PVP community so toxic?

He does seem to antagonize, but I haven’t seen his worst. Is that all he does?

League is more toxic kek

  1. People in general are toxic.
  2. Blizzard doesn’t punish toxic players.
  3. Competitive team environment where solo skill isn’t always rewarded with a win.

That’s bizarre, he probably wasn’t right in the head lol.

 why is the sky blue? :triumph: :confounded:

lmao imagine whispering someone after losing an arena. jeez, thats why i dont even bother reading whispers lol

I’ve had simular experiences. I remember playing with a WW monk who litterally flipped out on me for one game we didn’t win. Now when i queue i put in the title ‘chill games, no rage’. My experience has been much better since then.

Serious answer…

Activision created a game that is a cesspool of hate and resentment over the years from lack of engagement or trying to fix what is incredibly broken. The players can’t really take it out on the Devs so they take it out on each other because it’s easy. It’s a classic case of misdirected anger and we all fall victim to it. Playing this game makes you a hateful angry person and you have to unload on someone.

Geesh. Dozer called me the forbidden “c word” at the beginning of BFA with a homophobic rant because he beat me when I was playing bm/Druid to his fury/hpal. Every-time I bring it up, he just ignores the post, and acts like he’s a saint.

This is what drives me nuts, why don’t they hang around for you to respond?

Folks like that make me laugh. The not say it to your face kind cause they know they would get their wig busted.

As someone who has very little (less than 2 weeks) PVP experience, I haven’t found it too bad at all. My guild is PVE focused, so I’ve had to queue in LFG for rated games. My title is the same every time, “Chill, no pressure”. Haven’t dealt with a single toxic teammate yet, although I suspect I will as I reach higher CR.

that sounds like a good idea, i will indeed try it in the future

Guess you’ve never played league or overwatch lol…

Because their CR directly ties to their ego, because said ego is so fragile. When they lose, it brings down their worth as a person.
