Why is not raiding the poison that needs a cure?

How would the valor cap be any different to the pvp cap for conquest?

It would be worth it just for the meme alone.

Not a favorite of mine, personally. I disliked our previous infinite systems that made me feel like I had no choice or I would constantly be behind.

Jewelcrafting like it used to be in BC would be nice. Everyone loves gem sockets. I’d also like to see Archaeology return.

I want tier back.

Zones with full storylines instead of half gated by Covenants.

I’d like a return to Azeroth.

you guys need to figure out what you mean by casual. Because casual doesn’t mean solo in any dictionary

Not fun… to you. Precisely.

The game is certainly not the same thing it was. What do you think is missing? Lots of people point to the lack of RPG elements as their reasoning — like what? I still get the impression that classes are relatively unique (classes have kind of always been an unbalanced mess in both pvp and pve) …so it’s not that.

Is it things like crafting? And how crafting felt useful at one point? I do agree with that.

Honestly, you very likely could have just outgrown WoW. It’s not too ridiculous, especially if you been playing for a long time. I stopped wow for most of cata, all of pandaria, and WoD completely. It just… meh, wasn’t for me.

Then legion came and somehow I was intrigued again; it’s like an “old faithful” game to me lol.

It’s okay man, you don’t need to stay in love with WoW. If FF is your thing, so be it

I did four days of pvp (and dislike pvp) and got 1600 in YOLO rbgs along with 8 pieces of Conquest gear.
This gear is better than the cap of M+ currently. If I had the patience to get to 1800 I would be able to get gear better than the Valor system can produce. And I wouldn’t have to fight RNGeezus for the drops either.

Definitely not the half a year grind to bring 210 dungeon drops, when they do drop, up to 220.

EDIT - but numbers might not go live like this either.

For me atleast ill like to see a W+ system for world quests and The Torghast tower to be buffed it’s lacking.

You can be casual and still raid.

If you don’t like raiding, that’s fine; but raiding is the endgame in WoW and has always been.

I fell in love with the World of Warcraft, not the Instances of Warcraft. The rpg part is way more important to me than the mmo part, but seems like blizzard only cares about the mmo part. Heard someone say WoW could be a lobby game these days, and it’s the realest thing I’ve ever heard.

I put hidden between two arrow brackets.

ugh, i tried FF. not my thing.
Wow has so much data on what was popular and what wasn’t from each xpac. I’m worried that the truth of the matter is that if they gave us all the fun stuff in one xpac there would be no rabbit to pull out of the hat in the next.
I’m kinda thinking the rabbit is feeling old the past two expansions.

LOL me too.

Do I have news for you, now…for the first time ever, you can do M+ or PVP instead of raiding!!
!!
!!!

I think the problem is that the devs are trying desperately to expand the WoW universe – which is cool imo – but because they dumped 100% of the nostalgia into Classic, they feel no need to try and put some of that appeal to nostalgia in the current game, to use some of that data they have.

I like to use crafting as my example: they marketed SL has crafting being “meaningful” again. What do we get? an AH just filled with 1000000 copies of the same items.

You can’t craft anything meaningful for your characters as a different kind of progression. I remember still when getting a Lionheart Executioner was a BIG DEAL and it meant you could hold your own in a raid. It was a pain to make but well worth it.

They brought SOME of that appeal back and then half-did it. I literally ONLY use my BS to make sharpening stones. That’s it lol. There’s no point in making gear for my alts because it stops at 151 and NORMAL dungeons drop 158.

Casual players and solo players overlap, like, probably 99% of the time. They might as well be one in the same.

Good point Neralya!
I heard it somewhere that blizz is working so hard just for that spike in popularity or money at the beginning and then basically saying, “single file to the exit” and watching everyone leave until the next xpac. We get false promises.

casual means they don’t play as much. Where solo means a loner who refuse to play w/ other people. Get it right. Also casual can play raids and dungeon where solo just flat out refuse to for some unknown stupid reason

lol no. I don’t really care to play the semantics game. I’m gonna keep using whichever word I want.

Now I care even less about what you have to say.

call it whatever but I’m pointing out the major flaw of people’s arguement of what a “casual” is supposed to be. All you guys are are anti-social bad players. Not “casual”

This. I do group stuff all the time. LFR and heroic dungeon. It suits needs.

I just don’t look at mythic dungoen or heroic/mythic raid and go yeah…this is what I want to do.

We need raider io installed or go home. Well then I go home. Unless its doing something actually useful like DBM, it has no place in my load order.

I can run off specs. For my druid balance is, yet again, the fair haired child everyone loves. and feral is, well its feral. Convoke makes it better. But it also makes the golden child balance even better.

My NE druid will always be feral. Class fantasy/rp always takes precedence with me.

Also…I am not really down t blow 1000’s of gold on raid roids. to run a raid that is not giving 100% guarantee of ROI.

100 or so anima per boss for 5 k gold spent in raid roids…is not a sound fiscal decision. Its crap ROI. 5K gold went in…I need something better at end to say it was worth the 5k gold.

Why LFR does me fine. NO gold spent beyond repairs. And most runs its not been wipe city. 3 maybe 4 wipes total? I can live with that.
