I was dissappinted in the SL boost. It gave crappy gear, but at least your main could buy you 40 level renoun. Which is pretty much the same as this time other than the better gear.
If i remeber right, WoD boost had gear that was LFR ready.

Ironically enough, the people who complain about this sort of thing donāt even have anything achieved in the game thatās even worth bragging about or attempting to gatekeep. And if they do have any note-worthy achievement, itās often times bought for with paid services, lol.
For tooling around doing WQās. The 424 gear you are worried about will be replaced within the week. A fresh traditionally leveled 70 will be getting 440s right off the bat. You are stressing over nothing muchacho.

Yeah, it took them a bit effort to get to 401. My toons were all below 424, but i didnāt put in the effort required. Iām happy about a catch up mechanic that pays for development.

I can confirm that the paid $60 boost is enhanced. Iāve used it on two separate characters, one I already had and another in a class I never played before. They started at Renown 20 with ilvl 424 gear.

Can you remember if the boost included dragonriding fully unlocked with all DR talents/abilities?
Edit: I guess you wouldnāt know for sure if you already had DR fully unlocked prior to boosting, so nevermind.

Sweet! I saw contradicting answers in a different thread but I had the impression that one of the people had just thrown out info based on past boost patterns rather than actually using one.
Additionally, the Enhanced 70 Boost is in the base The War Within expansion for $50, so everyone will be getting the boost at some point.
Which will be irrelevant come tomorrow.

424 non upgradeable, non tier-able gear is so far behind current it can barely even be considered catchup gear. I really donāt understand what you are crying about.
