Until a Super-power of the world finally gets tired of playing silly games and kicks off and finishes the Unification Wars of Earth, and forcibly removes and severely punishes any concept of racism or division of people with hyphens there will be racism and nationalist hatred of others.
It is simply how Humans are designed from the base level to protect their own social groups from outsiders.
This is one of those things that you should probably make sure your own house is in order before mocking others. I’m sure where ever you live is also a craptastic dump.

back during SC BW (starcraft brood wars) there was a map called 9/11 defense. being a teen, i didn’t care as much. then memes years later stone-cold giving the towers a stunner, and hulk hogan running wild on the tower. I didn’t flip out about it. I used 9/11 as 1 example as it’s the first that many love to use to mock people from the united states. If its not 9/11 or school shootings, its cops, or terrorist attacks, random shooters, and obesity. If those don’t hit, it’s the assumption game next," well you’re not white" as if it’s supposed to be insulting. I’m not mind you. That’s when they take off, then its racial slurs against black people, or Hispanic/Latin, then its Antisemitism, and homophobia. Eventually, they cover every possible thing to feel like they had to get me on something.
My question is still, why is it okay though? If you’re NA and run off to any other server and did that, you’d be gone and probably perma banned. I’m not asking to be granted the ability to behave like that either.
I see a lot more hostility from NA players towards Latam servers, both in-game and here, than the reverse. Hate towards Ragnaros is the most common example but far from the only one.
As for language barriers when pugging, I just link the dungeon journal ability that is relevant as that will be translated by their client, and use pretty universally understandable markers like skull for kill and moon for CC.

Agreed. But it also sucks just about every where on earth. Most people think where they live is great. It’s not.
One of the best tanks we had in my old guild (it fell apart during WOD when almost everyone quit) was a girl from Brazil. Didn’t even know she was from Brazil until she said so. I don’t care where someone is from, as long as they aren’t a jerk.
Because large number of players from those servers are toxic a-holles ,who mess up during run and like to blame everyone else but themselves. When they encounter someone who understands Portuguese or Spanish and that someone points out what happen they like to throw tantrum fits drop m+ keys and call everyone else racists.That is my experience with most ragna and goldrin pugs.Also there have been some awesome players and good folk from those servers as well and they are on my friends list. But as they say 1 rotten apple…

I think it has to do with overpopulated servers. When a server has got a good reputation, all the dumbos flock to it and get this big ego because they are a part of that server. I think it applies to Malganis and Area 52 for Horde.
I don’t disagree, i know the rag hatred exsist which is why i don’t auto boot or flip. If they’re willing to learn, i’m willing to teach and have patience.
