I get you're looking for the 'authentic' classic experience, but world crashes and bugs caused by population was not one of those enduring traits that should be replicated.
Initial sharding for Classic is probably wise to address the short-term tourists.
Anyways, this thread is not about Classic, but rather why Blizzard thinks Retail players shouldn’t get to enjoy the same rights (community) as Classic players.
