This is ridiculous as a caster trying to get the epic dagger. The only way to have a reasonable chance of getting it is by being the only person in the group who is rolling when it FINALLY drops after about 100 runs. But since almost all of the groups running it are in a raid, you are stuck rolling against 5+ other people.
And good luck trying to pug a 5 man dungeon when the only people who would actually want to do so are the people who want the dagger.
All the melee are just running raids, how am I supposed to farm for this dagger?
Why would you even do a mara raid anyway?
You’re going to be locked out if your farming for offerings considering my 5 man gets a 10 minute lockout every hour.
Doing princess runs like like 8-11 minutes.
16 runs in yet no dagger but we had 3 rings drop so far.

All phase 3 feels like this to me there isnt a chance to get loot outside of raid unless you paypal everyone in your group to make you master looter for 100+ runs
its probably on purpose to make raid the main gearing activity but atleast in my guild we havent gotten a full clear since release we’ve gotten to last boss twice but cant get enough people interested to do a full run most people dont wanna sit in raid for 8 hours or 2 4 hour periods most people dont show back up or you have to pug people and they only get a few bosses of loot this phase feels really slow and dead after 3 weeks and its felt like this since release becasue of excursion and all the reputation grinds that you need to sink weeks into just to get 1 item that’ll most likely get replaced by an item 1 level higher that you get from a dungeon
most classes can solo mara. or just 2-3 man princess runs. you can still complete 5 runs an hour with 2-3 people if you do the reset spots.
Yeah I ended up giving up on pugging/making my own groups and just solod princess till she finally dropped the dagger a few days ago.
