Why is levelling so fast...?

I am not pulling a no life stunt to reach 70 in a day. Only made one level so far and having fun. I logged off after a couple of hours to watch soccer or have life.

nobody is making it 70 in a day without effort.

My main focus is hit 70, max tailoring, craft pvp gear, craft more, sell pvp gear, farm honor, get honor, farm rated get conquest. Maybe do lfr but that’s about the extent of the pve after questing and farming renown.

I’m still in the first zone and I’m already at 65. I figured I’d probably hit 70 well before I finish the questing experience. But I’m not going to stop questing just because I hit 70. Taking it slowly and doing all the things.

I haven’t done anything past doing the 1st dungeon and I’m 63 from professions lol.
I think I stopped at meeting Alex since dungeons are opened by levels.

that is true, but I think it’s more about saturation. Prior to discord and other platforms, when there was only the forums, sure there were troll threads A Lot. But the saturation of good threads to troll threads made it so we rarely saw them and the ones we did see stayed in 1 thread instead of 20+ individual threads needing to be made (Mostly because once a thread took off it stayed relevant). Now we see multiple attempts for a troll thread to take off but no good threads to reduce the saturation. Discord is also regulated by someone or a certain group and trolling is typically kept to a certain spot or it is removed. The forums can’t afford to regulate trolling or there would be almost zero content. Just look at the Class forums little to no content goes there.

A lot of players are like that. They all nighter first day, rush through all the content and complain of nothing to do. To which I say, thats their problem. Not the game’s.

Ive been enjoying my leveling experience. Im only 65 right now, but thats because I choose to go off the beaten path to farm nodes and explore. Why rush? Season 1 doesnt start for another few weeks. There will be plenty of time to spam dungeons and gear my character.

PS; There also players who rush because for them gearing their character and being ready for raid is their thing. So those type of players arent complaining about nothing after level. Because for them leveling is a mere hindrance and not the real game.

isn’t classic servers still available?

Alts and professions for me.

Actually I’m taking my time. I’m only 63 as of writing this post.

Leveling isn’t fast.

You’re seeing people who took off of work and haven’t slept.

I played launch day and yesterday and am only about to hit 63.

(Im 97% done with 62 and would say that took 4-5 hours between 2 days)

smh no lifers. it should take a minimum of a week to hit 70.

OP, you’re right that these people will complain once they realize there’s nothing left to do.

The fact that you’re 67 on day 3 in no rush kind of makes the point.

Leveling was painfully slow actually because looting took 3 minutes and getting/turning quest 5.

They made the campaign shorter, but introduced massive server lag to compensate.

I wished to be able to stay up all night but the pain you get in the eyes and lack of focus and sleepness is not worth it imho plus i got a family now so i can’t be doing that i don’t regret it in the past but im happy leveling is alot faster now.

Some people really want this game to be a full time job huh

Or some people just do quest after quest. If you ignore the soujourner stuff and just do the campaign, you can hit 69 pretty easily and cap it off from there starting world quests.

The campaign is the main story and it’s best done as a binge than as an episodic slow crawl.

Can’t say I noticed that coming in to SL with heroic raid level Nyalotha gear. It still took a while before the scaling made stuff actually hurt.

DF does feel easier than SL though, and that’s starting with lower gear in comparison.

Same for me. Plus my main will be gearing up by dungeon and invasions. There is a lot to do in this game. Leveling is a mere fraction of the experience

i hit 62 only did the first intro quests and so eco friendly BS quests. Mostly i killed and skinned and am attempting to level up my crafting. I am hoping the crafted armor isn’t tied to level but i bet it is. I am trying to craft my way to good armor…is it possible now

Thinking about it, I have a few memories from leveling but that was during BC (when I started). The vast majority of my good memories have come from end game. Be it raiding, dungeons, or just open world content.
