Why is goblin shaman a thing

It’s all about deals and, as you know, goblins got deals

I feel like goblins got the elements to sign some shady contract selling their resource rights away without realizing it

So now goblin can be shaman

even elementals can hate the said deals too!

Remember the fire elemental that worked with a goblin and ended up joining the twilight hammer after said goblin used his core?

I always wondered what Shaman gave in return for the power they ‘bargained’ from the Elements, specifically Goblins.

Well I guess that makes sense lol

There’s kinda a clash between shaman fantasies. Half of the shaman races are primitive hut dwelling types and the other half are industrious/space age folk that use the elements to help drive industry.

Because everybody wants to be Yoda

Goblins are very similar to Gnolls and Murlocs. They are low-intelligence humanoids.

It happens that some Goblins got their hands on Kajamite and made them smart, but their origins are nature-oriented humanoids.

Goblins are like my favorite horde race.

On one hand, their totems are the worst and I have no interest in playing a goblin shaman. But they kinda of work. Even taking out the “Deal with the elementals” reasoning-

Goblins were pretty primitive pre Kajamite, and it makes sense that they may have had shamanistic roots. In fact, you can also add the fact that they were slaves to trolls for a while, such things being a part of their “culture” isn’t surprising. Not to mention they’re opportunistic and very curious. I have a had time imagining that Goblins wouldn’t explore every school of magic they feasibly can.

I do wish they allow Shamans glyphs that change the appearance of their totems…

I really love the totems used by the Quilboar in Razorfen Downs.
