Why is Gallywix called the "Chrome King"

chrome fits perfectly for him honestly. maybe the person that gave him the title did it as a jab at his dumb little brain that thinks anything shiny is 100% good?

chrome is something you put on top of roughwork to make it look shiny and slick.

used alot on fridges and kitchen bells. its all just bells and whistles. chrome scratches quickly and stains horribly. but for the first hour you got it ? it looks amazing.

It’s Gallywix. Who knows why he does anything.

The “King” part was because he wanted to symbolize that he was above the other Trade Princes.

As for the “Chrome”, it’s because of his giant chrome robot shaped like himself.

It depends on how you define “rationalize”. What CoPilot did here was to gather information it had been fed about Gallywix and the definition of the word “Chrome” and it produced the answer given.

Come to think of it, that’s how people would answer that question. So is that “rationalizing”?

Sould’ve been “Diamond King Gallywix” to fuel the speculation surrounding the “the king of diamonds has been made a pawn” whisper.

idk but every time i read it i think of Return to oz and the The Nome King

Dunno. And since his mech turned him into pavement lotion, it’s quite unlikely that we’ll ever have the opportunity to ask.

Chrome is usually, cheaply spray-painted onto things.

Like that Spongebob episode. Or his mech itself.

I think it makes perfect sense.

“The Gilded King” would’ve also fit.

Basically looking good, but that’s about it- what’s underneath might be crap.

A polished turd, comes to mind.

I think it’s highlighting his and the other goblins dirty, toxic and corrosive habits. Trashing the environment.

Sounds better to me than Edge King.

Wish I may, wish I might
Have this I wish tonight
Are you satisfied?
Dig for gold, dig for fame
You dig to make your name
Are you pacified

its gallywix, he wanted to be the king of the world, and his mech is literally chrome plated. it makes sense.

From the '20s through the '60s, chrome was considered a luxury status. The more chrome, the more prestigious. Check out cars in 1958, they went nuts with chrome. Heck, even the 1958 Corvette had extra chrome trim.

Big chrome grills and trim. Seems fitting that Gallywix would chrome his whole mech.

he was a porcelain king if anything

How about the Snea King?

I think it is a joke about how good Google Chrome thinks it is

though, probably calling it a joke is giving me too much credit lol

Since the title kinda comes out of nowhere, I don’t really get it either.
