Why is everyone freaking out

Its disappointing purchasing a boost, joining a community in prebatch to then be spit on in game. Called lazy on the forums. I’m sorry that I am diminishing your achievement of gearing over the last few years. Your gear is obsolete in less than two weeks. I was anticipating grinding some honor gear. But now its impossible. If you actually cared about this game, you’d welcome new and returning players and assist them to gear. Not gate keep epics so you can pretend your better than someone else.

Boiling it down to its most simple premise “time is money” being 10x more efficient at a thing is far more satisfying where you are rewarded based on your efficiency at a task.

Yes the items get replaced, having those items not only increases player efficiency now it it a massive boon while levelling and working through the next cycle of content.

You’re trash dude. If you think 170 hours for a R14 2her is correct, you’re sorely mistaken and never played back then.

Where did I ever say that you had to feel the same as me? I never did. I asked you to consider how other people COULD be upset by this change, especially in light of other issues surrounding prepatch, even if you weren’t. And as far as I’m concerned, you being completely apathetic to Blizzard’s poor handling of this whole situation, while also seemingly trying to convince other players to have this same apathy, is giving them a free pass.

Regardless, there is nothing wrong with players using the community forums to voice their concerns. Blizzard has backtracked on decisions before, like their recent choice to reduce the cost of character clones, after substantial backlash. People have nothing to lose and everything to gain by voicing their dissatisfaction.

That defeats the purpose of pre-patch being for catchup then.

I honestly couldn’t care less if it was the same as it was 15 years ago either to be honest. It was fun, and prepatch is that magical time between expansions where is literally does not matter.

Everything is going to be wiped clean by the leveling process soon, the previous content is has been enjoyed and cherished to the extend everyone is happy with. Let the players have some fun and be able to grind the gear.

So far the only legitimate concern I can see is people hoarding it for level 70 gear but I’m sure there is a better solution that addresses that such as rolling honour back to the amount in the snapshot once TBC goes live. Two weeks to farm and buy, then it’s back to normal.

LOL you swiped your credit card for a level 58 character that you had nearly two years to level if you had any kind of discipline, foresight, or work ethic.

And you’re upset that you’re not also getting nearly free welfare purples to go with it. LOL!

Too delicious. Seeing all these retail babies with hurt feelings has absolutely made my day. Please don’t stop! Please tell me more about how unjust it is that Blizzard allowed you to purchase a level 58 character but you don’t get a complete set of purples to go with it. LMAO

Think you proved my point. You mad that I want to catch up in PRE PATCH

You called me a battered wife. I think you know what that means or you wouldn’t have said it.

lol you’re still payin blizzard so either stop paying them or shut up.

You’re the same cry baby that was complaining about the 2200 rating for shoulders and 2000 for weapons and now wanna talk about people and the honor gains. Shut your hypocrite *** up. Youll never make 2k rating trash kid.

It will be an awesome day when the zoomers stop trying to race a MMORPG and actually enjoy it as a MMORPG. That day will never happen though.

You can drink their tears all you want but having more people play TBC is better not worse. Moves like this will not make the game more successful and will only drive away players. But who am I kidding you don’t care about an authentic classic experience you just want to protect your Naxx epeen. You are the same person who would have been crying about World of Warcraft being too casual back in 2006 claiming Everquest was the game for REAL MMO Players.

Prepatch is definitely a chance for new gamers to join and try to catch up with the veterans. R14 gears are only as good as T2 level gears. It is not like the new gamers will be as strong as naxx bis players in two weeks and they don’t get the title. They just need something better than greens/blues to level a little easier in outland.

LOL, [citation needed]. No seriously, link the thread where you think I said that.

2.2k isn’t gonna step me from getting shoulders, little one.

I was just in a WSG and every single kill was 3-5 honor. I didn’t get any solo kills, cause the team was grouped up pretty much the whole time.

Here’s a video from original TBC pre-patch and the absolute highest honor is from a duo kill at 1:20 that gave 9 from a Knight-Captain:

Most of the kills in that video are 3-5, just like they were for me in my WSG game. There’s even some 2 honor kills in that video from rank 4-5 players.

As far as server populations are concerned, I will gladly trade quantity for quality.

Have fun playing retail with all your little friends!

It’s almost like they don’t want you to get all the gear in 1 day. Weird

Face facts… They don’t want new people. They would rather everyone who didn’t stick it out through NAX not play hence the (Go back to retail) sentiment.

Yes. This game is much better off without the retail players. What are you waiting for? Just go play retail.

the catch up is 60-70. This is so much whining over gear your going to race to get out of.

Honestly, when you have 100 days played in the next 2 years on BC what’ll the gear that only lasted the first 15 hours even matter?
