There’s the combination of inconsistent writing and the inability of a large portion of the community to comprehend any of it.
Even when the story is at a good point, the community just can’t pick up on anything. I think too many people just base everything they know off cutscenes and ignore everything else. They fill in the gaps with what they assume is happening.
This is why I love watching the lore nerd stuff and speculating and digging a lot more into the story. It’s pretty decent when you start putting pieces together.

Ever notice how a male character hasn’t really done anything of note while the ladies are essentially becoming demigods ever since Danuser took the helm?
Yes, they are main characters even if they do not get the screen time. If you ever read a long book series you can have entire books where some main characters are absent. For instance Luke Skywalker is still a main Starwars character even if the new trilogy had him in a secondary role.
Makes who think? I’ve never pondered on it at all, personally. You’ve got Jaina and Tyrande and Sylvanas, but also Malfurion and Illidan, and Arthas. All super powerful lore characters with a variety of dangly bits.
It’s actually my view that we’re seeing much more out of the female cast because Blizzard since Vanilla has had a habit of murdering (spiritually or literally) the main cast-- who tended to be male-- and never really replacing them with anything or anyone, so of course we’re just going to see female characters doing stuff.

Or just decent good female characters that doesn’t turned into a angry blonde murder Like what they did with Sylvanas, Jaina, Azshara, and soon Alleria because people hate Blonde Female Characters with Blue Eyes pretty much.

What would you define as a “main character” in WoW anyway? Different expansions have different main characters. For example Alexstrasza was a main character in Cata.
When was Azshara blonde? She always had silverly coloured hair as a night elf. And she was always an egotistical mess. She didn’t get suddenly “turned” into one. Also her eyes were golden. They were never “blue”.
And let Mal’ganis turn all those people into undead soldiers? What happened at Startholme was a lose-lose situation for Arthas. Do nothing and Mal’ganis wins. Take action and Mal’ganis still wins (by baiting Arthas to go to Northrend). Why is it that whenever someone brings up the “quarantine” argument they intentionally ignore that important plot element.

The problem was, Arthas could not tell who had eaten from the plagued grain or not. It was a gamble he couldn’t afford to take. So he chose to kill everyone. Better be safe than sorry.
Another thing to remember is that Stratholme was the second biggest city in Lordaeron behind the capital itself. It wasn’t just some small town. And with Mal’ganis and his agents in the city accelerating the conversion process, a simple quarantine would’ve taken too long. The whole point was that no matter what action Arthas took, it was a lose-lose situation. When will people like you realize that?
I don’t appreciate you dissing my girl Azshara, out of all the villains that have appeared in recent years she is actually one of the better ones. And she didn’t turn evil, she’s been evil for like 10k years dude lmao.
Blizzard dosen’t know how to writte women, they are all a bunch of duds, you would say what about madelein and Christie, they both follow the instruction told by danusser and the writting department in wow, so, still duds, writting women, and the aren’t good at it.

I mean out of all the Female Characters. Azshara other than not having her own Expansion and what not atleast she’s the only Female Character that actually stays Evil and not go to a complete 188. So… yea sorry about that.
Personally I’m waiting for the bearded female dwarven war priestess to come riding in with long flowing hair and beard, large ale mug in each hand, and laying waste to all enemies before her while handing out drinks to the beardless to put hair on their chins. Oh… time for another…
Op,how much of a dramatic scene do you want that isn’t going to be ridiculed ? If a strong women is displayed in game for saving her beloved in a dramatic fashion of valor she would be looked down as weak because she saved his life. The same would be in a the reverse as well.
Technically the entire Kirin Tor sent that order, they just couldn’t have guessed the High Elves would have a racially driven motive to take advantage of the chaos for mass murder, Jaina herself doing any killing is a confirmed bug by the devs themselves.
