Sure, but did we ever need valorstones, 4-6 types of crests, kej, undercoins, radiant echos, globs of wax, spare toolboxes, knowledge points, artisans acuity…probably half a dozen other currencies from this expac alone. Sure you could argue some of these things arent end game, but they are used by people engaging in end (or intending to at some point) really muddying the waters of “what do i need to work on”.
Ive seen so many people complain about addons and how they are trying to reduce reliance on 3rd party access, the entire time forgetting half the stuff in their game requires or encourages you to check out wowhead.com.
Sorry than went on longer than expected. I just think anything more than 2-3 currencies is dumb period, but when you need that many just to access gear upgrades its really really awful. The changes to this in midnight i think are great.
