My arena partner was just hit for a 23k full moon and was killed in 2 globals, 2 seconds of the druid coming out of stealth. I was then hit for a 15.8k Starsurge and then a 13k Starsurge. What is this even? We both died in under 5 seconds.
I had another game where I was hit for a 17k full moon then a 13k starsurge. 2 hits. No sunfire or moonfire damage. No starfall damage. Just two hits. I get its a channeled cast, but the damage is instant. It’s happening in literally a second, out of stealth. It takes a second for my pet to even be recalled and go outfor a stun. This is crazy. How was this not addressed on tuesday? This is insane.

Just did another game… This just happened… what the hell… I literally harpooned to him to kick it in the first .7s. The kick landed and stopped Convoke. I died at .7s. I should have just instantly turtled. I thought I could kick it. So stupid.

Just fought a match with 2 boomkins. This is actually hilarious. My pet instantly died as I sent it in to stun… TO STOP THE CONVOKE. lol. I actually died as it was moving to the target.

edit 2: Just so we are clear, here a screenshot of one of the instances I mentioned. I came out of stealth to stop the rogue that opened on my priest and died in .5s.
To survive this, I would have had to instantly turtle the second I saw convoke. Given that it’s a 2 minute ability, it sucks to waste a huge CD instantly. I have tried to stun the druid with my pet, but in multiple cases, my pet actually dies as its moving to the druid to stun them. Since Convoke target at random, it’s almost a waste to use sac… not that it matters because my pet is usually dead by that point.
Can’t even make this up.

One more screenshot for ya guys, since some people keep claiming this is SOOOO rare. Yea. It’s not. 20.7k full moon…
In this instance, the boomi is hitting 4 targets. Me, my pet, the ret, and my healer. My pet died, I turtled, the ret bubbled, and my priest was sitting on the box but was tossing out some heals. We honestly thought with it hitting 4 targets we would be okay to react. Well, that just isn’t the case. The boomi was out of range of kicks and rather then die again… I turtled.
20k hits shouldn’t be a thing no matter what you do for setup.

Decided to go ahead and report this as a bug. Full Moon is not in the tool tip and the New Moon talent does not need to be selected for it to proc Full Moon.
