nahhh do it on classic era but just start new seasons with the new content every year and a half, thats how the vanilla client is already set up so they should just update it
The easily-distracted majority chased after Seasonal/FRESH nonsense and retail progression servers instead of novel Classic content. Classic Era is the only place Classic WoW remains running. If Classic+ were to be implemented, it would rightfully be launched as Eraâs Phase 7.
asking them to make classic+ is like asking the current writers for the Simpsons to recreate the magic of seasons 1-8. itâs just never gonna happen. the time has passed. the talent has moved on
Delusional as always. Era is just a museum for people to park their legacy characters, nothing else. Nobody besides you and the other 5 people who play era wants classic+ to be in it. Makes absolutely no sense, who would want to start over on a server where you canât copy your characters anymore but the lucky ones who did now a have a massive advantage over you.
They can make wow classic to wrath with the cut content like dance studio they promised and stuff haha they can call it classic uncut.
I assume you want a completely separate workflow for Classic+? Art, Encounters, Quests, etc.?
Youâre asking Blizzard to hire ~300 Artists and Designers to work on a game ~500 other employees work on across the hall. They would be insane to not put that workforce on Retail.
Amen, literally the only people who would want cata are retail players needing more QoL than classic provides and content creators not wanting to run out of content. If they announce cata is 100,% coming thatâs when Iâll unsub, no interest in playing the first retail expansion.
he doesnât know what wrath is. poor boy
I mean itâs a simple equation. They end classic support and new refreshes, then I have no reason to subscribe.
Sounds like you should have petitioned for Classic+ and not followed the crowd to retail progression realms.
honestly Iâd CONSIDER cataclysm if they completely change how characters work
or rather, if they DONâT change it
keep WOTLK spells, no purge
keep old talents
keep how classes work
no split of feral cat/bear
no removal of all hybrid spells
no removal of certain character stats
no nerf to profession utility
no further homogenizing classes
keep those things like theyâre on WOTLK and I will play cataclysm
Arenât you the guy who was saying som was still a huge success when all but one server died and that one server barely survived past bwl?
You do know they changed talents at mop not cata right? lol
My ideal world is one that canât exist.
We skip Cata, get the monk class and content from MoP. Keep a lot of the utility and feel of WoTLK. Get all the races from retail implemented, get unique content to classic, and the game continues to branch off in itâs own direction.
Maybe we slowly get more modern dungeons and zones implemented, but theyâre re-vamped to fit the playstyle and dynamics of WoTLK
They revamped that talents in cata as well, it was a much more simplified talent tree.
No, classic plus is just modified and improved vanilla wow.
I think that is what the idea originally was since it was first incepted back in vanilla classic, but if Classic+ were to be implemented after WoTLK it could honestly take many different forms.
But to say they would need to hire 300 artists and designers for a game that has nearly 2 decades of art assets it can pull from retail is kind of silly. Unless they do something like, create a whole new never before seen zone, leveling experience, race or some combination of the previous.
Classic+ is in vanilla wow, the expansions are not considered classic.
The classic⊠Brand? Extends to TBC Classic and Wrath of the Lich King Classic. To reiterate, Classic+ was brought to the forums as an alternative to TBC classic, but when they went with TBC classic, and then WOTLK Classic, this muddied things. I donât believe there is a singular galvanized vision of what Classic+ is.
Even back then, there was confusion on what Classic+ meant. Does it mean release TBC content but keep the level cap at 60? Does it mean release content that was planned for vanilla but never made it? Does it mean add bob the builder to Stormwind who hands out balloons? All of these definitions would put us in a âclassic+â scenario. In fact, we kind of already are with the âTBC but with some changesâ decision.
classic+ is vanilla WoW with additional Azeroth content, keeping the level cap at 60. anyone saying otherwise is just wrong.
