Why is Blizzard treating the Alliance as a side project

Khadgar is neutral is doesn’t really give a crap

Velen again doesn’t really give a crap but goes where his people go

It was mostly a neutral expac

I remember plenty of Khadgar and Draenei spaceships with alliance characters on board. In fact Nightborne were neutral for most of legion until the very end. Where was the horde other than Highmountain which were also a neutral faction until the end?

You must be new to WoW then, it’s every couple of expansions that the dominate faction switches to the other side. So you better get ready to go back Alliance soon.

Back in WoD the forum was identical with the cries, if not worse, it was just horde screaming and crying.

That is not at all true. Legion was lazer focused on our side almost the entire xpack. I played Horde alts, and their story felt like a complete afterthought to ours, outside of the Nighthold. And even there we were an integral part of it, some of our side were just too haughty and arrogant towards our new potential allies to have them want to join us after.

are you being serious? you probably think WoD was a “horde” expansion as well then even though it was entirely about humans killing orcs. -.-

i’ve played a long time. i just wasn’t on the forums. but i do remember WoD. you can check my characters born on date on my achievements. this one was made in cata i think.

It was a Horde expansion, just not our Horde

Whenever someone makes this statement, its a huge red flag to me.

The a huge red flag with the letters stitched on it “don’t take me serious, im here to troll”.

It was

It wasn’t really focused on either, the time it did was the opening

RIP Varian, I didn’t want you to go

Because they mostly all play Horde? So they don’t really have an incentive to work upon the faction they have no attachment with.

Contrary to what’s in game, since obviously Horde need to be able to do quests as well, Khadgar’s allegiances in the lore are with the Alliance, the same as Velen. The Horde are their enemies.

This is clearly evident if you actually knew what Khadgar’s official title is:
Supreme Commander of the Alliance Expedition, also he is apart of the Sons of Lothar

He also became the leader of the Kirin Tor when Jaina stepped down during Legion, but even the Kirin Tor is Alliance based. Just because they voted to allow the Horde back into Dalaran to help against the Burning Legion, at the same time they didn’t allow Horde to be back into the Council of Six, or have any leadership role: “The council later voted to allow Aethas Sunreaver back into Dalaran, although not as a member of the Six.”

Which just goes to show that the Kirin Tor are still Alliance raced based and just used the Horde during Legion to bolster their numbers against the demonic threat, and denied the Horde any leadership and voting power in it’s ranks.

Dadghar is heavily neutral. He cares about the world, not factions. It was obvious in legion

This is a thinly veiled Night Elf lore QQ thread.

Alliance as a side project more like:

“Why is Blizzard treating the Night Elves as a side project?”

Why would it just be night elves? Dwarves haven’t gotten any love for awhile.

Dark Irons Allied Race and Dwarf Heritage questing was not enough?

I was talking about regular dwarves. And no, compare that to all the human potential and it’s like a tiny sliver that you can’t see in the pie chart

Gnomes are getting a bunch of Gnome lore this upcoming patch.

So I guess that’s 2 halves of the Alliance getting representaion.

And honestly we haven’t had a human focused story in awhile either.

WOD was Orcs Orcs Orcs and Dreanai. Legion was pretty much Elves and Dreanai with only Khadgar as the one Human.

At least we got male human Paladins?

In a while? BFA is a massive human fest also MOP and part of cata

Anduin even though he’s sorta not a Paladin.
