Why is Blizzard so against adding aesthetic races?

Because, like I’ve already said previously, something being aesthetically pleasing to the eye is not mutually exclusive with it being the same as all the others. Believe it or not, but you can create visually attractive character models that are both aesthetically pleasing to the eye and also unique with regard to the existing models in the game.

Some football players would like to have a word with you.

Not incorrect. Different people like different things— numbers are meaningless. No one cares if one person out of ten likes how someone looks. It’s still subjective.

It’s objective fact that Kul Tiran Humans are the least played race in the game. So, ergo, it is objective that they are the least aesthetically pleasing to the eye.

Capiche?

Tumblr / Cal Arts style taking over. It’s getting harder to buy good looking games from non-Asian developers.

You’re assuming that visual aesthetics are the only factor in choice to draw your conclusion. That is not something that is true.

Take a logic course next semester, it will improve your life!

Also subjective, I absolutely detest the Asian art style. Especially in games.

Wrong. People don’t play them for all sorts of different reasons.

Their favorite class doesn’t exist for them, not interested in another human race, not interested in the racials, etc.

You seem to think people only decide what they’ll play solely based off of how they look. And that’s simply not true.

How are numbers meaningless? Why would it make any sense to cater to the .4% (literally) over the 99.6%? What does that accomplish? That you stuck it to the overwhelming majority? Please explain.

In response to your wall of text I’ll be making a fat Kul Tiran Death Knight in your honor.

Until you post on it, I don’t believe you. You won’t, though, because they’re not aesthetically pleasing to the eye and you know it.

Again, no one cares if one person out of ten likes how someone looks. Aesthetics are still subjective.

Don’t worry, when I can I will until then my rogue

Your opinion. I have two of them. And I think the KT male warriors look epic in plate.

I disagree. This isn’t FFXIV.

We don’t play the games for a separate fantasy. We play the games because the gameplay should and must be different. There are nuances in gameplay but also explicit differences. I like WoW for what it is.

That’s all. I just like it and prefer it. Everyone has their preference though and I get that.

Hi there. We get it. You don’t like fat people. Keep poking the dead horse anymore and it’s likely to explode in a shower of gas and gore in your face.

And my Druid, cheers!

This has already been disproven in the previous thread. Even if you subtracted the Paladins from Zandalari, they still have more than double the population. Humans literally have the most representation out of all the Alliance races. Try again. No one chooses races based on racials. Nice try.

They aren’t played because they aren’t aesthetically pleasing to the eye. There is no disputing this.

They aren’t aesthetically pleasing to -you- is the key phrase. shrug That’s how personal preference works my dude. Everyone’s different.

And yet, there are more of us than goblins.

Incorrect. That means 10% of people consider it aesthetically pleasing to the eye, which is still 25 times more than that of people who find Kul Tirans visually attractive - so there’s that.
