You won’t see your own gravestone, I think.
But, it’s a really cool feature in my opinion. I’ve seen one gravestone and that person immediately became famous and interesting, at least to me.
I like it.

Hey, if you want to be the one to test the waters, more power to you. I’m sure you can find plenty of examples to post on reddit.
Blizzard’s forum Code of Conduct includes limiting the posting of things that involve naming people from the game who are not posting in the thread.
It’s just enforced this way for consistency.
That last bit was very important to making yourself not sound sound silly. I’m glad you provided it.

I believe the screenshot I am looking at in guild discord showing that one guildy found another guildy’s gravestone from the night before when I was playing with the guildy in question lol.
I do believe that Blizzard made it known this feature was coming and would show you the graves of other, real, players.
Not sure where this theory that they are just randomly generated stuff came from tbh.

i don’t use reddit, and am trying to regain my tl3 here after an extended break.
that’s the first I’ve ever heard of that.
I guess policy must have changed while i was away (because surely you wouldn’t just make stuff up, would you?)
last i checked, the only restriction was posting about people in a derogatory manner.
simply posting a screenshot of ingame stuff, isn’t derogatory or defamatory.
edit: just checked, nothing has changed.

What I mean is, it boils down to this technically being something they can action via the CoC.
Whether or not they will do so depends on a lot of things, including how much info you scrub out, the tone of the post, and most importantly whether or not it gets flagged by a significant number of people.

Hey I disagree with you on the subject of the thread.
But you’re right about the needless toxicity in chat and I stand with you on calling that out.
That makes these forums worse and all you doing it suck.
I make jokes and attack ideas and clown around. I fail sometimes at positively contributing. I lose my cool sometimes and get mean.
But I try to be good.

This doesn’t apply to the game. These rules are specific to the forums. Why OP has chosen to try to apply this to the game in the exact same vein, I do not understand.

There should be an anxiety accessibility button so anything done by anyone else or spawned by anyone else isn’t visible.
Then blizzard can continue doing things like this in their MMORPG. And people who play this game as an MMORPG instead of a single player RPG can experience new social features added to the game.
People like Sendryn above asking for a toggle is fine.
But it’s their dramatic approach that’s ridiculous. No one is quitting over this.
