Personal loot and group loot are near the same.
The only difference is the rolls are hidden from you in personal loot. In personal loot, the game rolled to see who got loot first, then rolled loot from your loot pool.
The main difference is now you get to see the loot roll as drops and the personal roll that was hidden is the roll to determine who gets it now. Same number of rolls happening just more visible. Personal loot was a placebo effect.
