agreed…I’ve had zero issues across 3 toons now with LFG. I think it’s just basically laziness and wanting to click a button then queue pops without having to refresh or actually put forth ANY effort to get a group together.
Most people who spin these tales on the forums are just making things up, to provide reasons why we “need” RDF. If you scroll down on most of the “horrible things happened to me” posts, there’s inevitably a “this would have never happened if we had RDF”.

Asmond streamer guild. That’s what you get. Find a real guild who can do these 25 man’s with less people. Right now you can blast nax out in one night. Sounds like you need a hardcore group instead. If you sit in LFG and nothing is happening, take the bull by the horns and form it yourself…
I 100% agree. I thought them keeping out rgf was kinda cool but now that i have played with out it and have sat for an hour waiting to get agroup it sucks just brong back the old style of group finder you do it for bgs why not dungoens.

I form groups for heroics in 2 minutes or less.

This is nothing new and is the same issue that’s been in the game since MC, and it’s a you and your guild issue. Ever since the first raid in MC people have had the same issue, filling the raid, trying to find people to replace others, trying to get a second or third raid night with the same people or guild.
For 18 years we have overcome these problems, if your guild cannot do that now than you need to find a better guild, a guild who has people waiting to come raid, spare tanks, healers and DPS, people who can jump in to replace the missing members who leave or don’t show up for the second night.
Unless you have a guild of 25 people who refuse to change spec, you replace them with another guild member, no guild should be running bare minimum players, they should be having others warming the bench for this exact reason.
lol interesting to see people’s reaction to raidlock when they see it for the 1st time. Yeah dude raidlocks are there and they are necessary otherwise the game will end in 1,2 weeks. WOTLK is already super easy, imagine what removing raidlocks will do…
By the way, you can make your own group and finish your raid from any boss.
Just going GDKPs, I can assure you nobody will leave until the end on those ones.
If you decided to play the least enjoyable way by doing random pugs instead or organized guild runs, of course you have to expect a crappy experience more often than not.
As for your problem with the group finder, looks like a conflicting addon.
As for the raid lockout… it’s been like that until Warlords of Draenor, not like it’s new, and it’s been that way since classic’s launch, what did you expect?
Youre doing something wrong … I find groups sooo fast using lfg, mere minutes. That or you made the mistake of leveling on low pop server or a majority horde pop server as alliance or majority alliance server as horde.
You chose to play on fresh. That’s a you problem. The lockout system is the system that encouraged people to actively stay and try finishing those instances rather that just bailing if it doesn’t go as fast as you’d want.
I run with a 25 man on Tuesday.
And on the Sundays I run a gdkp. And every time I’m looking for people I see constant groups making and recruiting for 1 wing down already started groups.
This week we ran literally half of nax10. With 8 players. And out of those 8 players 2 of us did more than all the others guys DPS and 1 of the healer was still wearing mostly black temple gear.
Content is not hard but it is entry level. It is ok to not be able to clear it. A lot of people are learning. There is absolutely no rush to full clear and get bis’d out anyway. Take it slow enjoy the game and it’s struggles . Classic was brought back for people that like the old ways, the hard ways, if you want all the commodities and QOL changes of retail, why not remain there ?(please don’t take it as an offense) Classic is not for everyone and that’s what makes it best for us the die hard classic fans.
You might wanna look into how you’re using it ? I get invited in minutes as soon as I queue up. And I usually get a group flying towards stone in under 5 minutes .
Sorry if this has been pointed out, but the entirety of your gripes are mostly user error, and also what did you spend 600 hours doing and somehow never figuring out how a lockout works? your story is full of holes this reads like a confession of how little effort you put into learning how to use the LFG tool.
First up, If its listing you as the wrong role, its because you have the wrong role selected on your talent spec. Go fix that
It may not save your notes, but you’re on a computer which has both notepads and the ability to copy and paste.

The last leaders notes thing is probably actually a bug, good catch.
Otherwise, your whole argument is “help, after several years of not really playing the game when it was hard, I need to to suddenly cater to me even more now that its easymode”
Why are you surprised? This Game is like 13 years old … It had the same issues back then, god, classic players are amazing, no mather how many times we warn you about these kind of stuff and that nostalgia alone wont keep you playing an old version of a Game, you are still stubborn… There is a reason why retail is how It is, It has years of development and evolving into a more modern Game, fixing those kind of problems.

It’s unusual how entertaining it is witness the community absolutely devour itself.
Everyone is on a mission to get other players to quit playing and in the same breath talk about social dominate systems that improve community interactions.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want RDF in any capacity. I would prefer they fix some of the notes issues with LFG or just ditch it all together and go back to using LFG Channel. It also wouldn’t hurt to remove ID lockout for Boss lockout like a lot of Private servers have moved too. Would make it easier to fill the guild 25m when life happens and our tank or a couple of heals don’t show. This would be a rather helpful yet benign change (in regards to keeping it classic) considering it only adds to the social aspect being able to connect with more groups/players instead of losing a lockout.
