Just give Blood elves blue eyes and some tattoo options in shadowlands to seal the deal.

I get the intention here but thats not going to change the requests.
You’ll only see the requests end when either they are actually given High Elves, or the High Elves are dealt with in such a way as to make it clear there are none left.
I’m still of the camp of rolling the High Elves into the Void Elves either by choice or by another Ethereal trap setup.
Make it a scenario that unlocks the tattoos and some other customization options so there is lore and flavor to go along with it. (Though I don’t mean adding in pale skinned options, just more Void Elf options.) And if they can manage to work in the Paladin class I think that would be a good idea.
I really hate the idea of rolling them into void elves. It makes me sad.

I was wondering how many people wanting alliance high elves play other games that have high elves in it.

I don’t play many others at the moment. Just guild wars 2 at times. I used to play Rift but haven’t in a while.
I will add that I enjoy wow elves a lot. I like the lore, except for void elves because they feel ridged and feel like no thought or care put in. The void gives me the creeps in wow as well so the theme and aesthetic of them is not my jam.
The closest gw2 has to elves would be Sylvari, they are plant people though. I have a few, but primarily play norn, who are similar in theme to vykrul.

WoW is my only frame of reference for Fantasy. I tend to prefer low fantasy and period dramas, or sci-fi I think is what would SWTOR be considered.
And I actually prefer Blood Elves to High Elves. But I still support Alliance High Elves. I think High Elves tie with Nightborne as my second favorite elves.

I get that too. I’m working mostly off blizzards seeming desire to have high elves alliance side be, as they stated with void elves, distinct and that we already have the blood elf model so it’s unlikely that we’d get a second one.
In that context that’s why I think that’s the most viable answer.
It just wouldn’t make me happy. I’d rather have high elves, or half elves.

Part of this is because of the entropic embrace right? I do find it annoying that we have no choice to turn that off, really annoying to have the corruption effect on everyone.

I personally like it myself. I get it’s not everyone’s thing though.
The level of corruption for the void elves would be a good choice? Still wouldn’t be my thing. But hey? Work for somebody.

I just meant I like the effect. And that I can understand others not liking it.
I am just not a fan of void anyway. I can’t even play a shadow priest, I’m just not into the theme.
