Why High Elves Don't Work: A Primer (Part 1)

Um…that’s pretty much exactly what it means; that you are capable of doing it, that you have the ability, the resources, and the time to do whatever the thing is.

… and chose not to.

That’s fine bro, if you hold a different belief it’s cool.

How about stopping one brownie short of hyperglycemia…ok?

It’s really more of an opinion than a belief. Alliance high elves are terrible and should never be playable.

Joe makes $1000 a month
Joe wants new cams for his 454 Big Block (joe’s a bro’s bro)
Joe’s monthly bills are just about $1000 a month
Now joe can buy cammies or pay bills but not both

omy…buhaha… :smile_cat:

If only it were that easy. It seems I can consume insane amounts of sugar and I don’t even get a sugar rush… but then my hiatal hernia goes full Obi-Wan with its “Hello there” and acid reflux causes me to stop. :sob:

So Joe bought Void Elves… er Parliaments instead of Alliance high elves… er Camels.

If I take your concept about how ‘anything’ can happen regardless of how ridiculous then I’d say it will never happen especially when I take into
consideration how much opposition playable alliance high elves have.

And considering the popularity of Blood Elves and how the other Allied races went, both reskins and faction crossings, they would peak that opposition.

In all honesty, I’m guessing the majority doesn’t really care whether they happen or not. In the hypothetical scenario of it happening, we might see some outrage, either from Alliance because “you only copy/pasted a race and didn’t give us something unique” or from Horde because well, they are an iconic Horde race.

What really matters, though, it’s the reasons why they won’t be (and shouldn’t be) playable in blizzard’s eyes.

Well, if you say that, then you didn’ take my concept of ‘anything’ can happen.

Literally, all it takes for the lore is someone to write up a situation.

And just a reminder that no matter how the playerbase is opposed to an idea, that never stopped Blizzard. That’s why we have the so unpopular Pathfinder, or how most of the people hate how the lore was handled as of recently.

Yup, anything can happen. The sun can explode tomorrow, you could win the lottery. Alliance high elves could all die in a fire. That gains no ground either way. It’s not a relevant argument.

My vote is on an invasion from inferno (because I’ve heard the other word it’s a no-no regardless of context… gg blizz) after a single guy decided to go ballistic on them demons.

That’d be fun to watch.

But it’s not a fact that ‘anything can happen’ because the blizz devs have a responsibility to write the game in a way that doesn’t destroy it.

I’ve always wondered where they even come up with such a notion.

Might as well send them this memo, because girl the struggle is real…
