This is the WORST kind of logic for this situation.
The major faction of High Elves on Azeroth are already playable. They’re the Blood Elves, and they’re allied with Lor’themar. They dedicate much of their life to defending the Sunwell and Quel’thalas.
The only problem people like you have, is that they High Elves are only playable on the Horde…
The Faction Barrier is the problem. High Elves are already playable. You’re just upset you can’t play them on the side you want.

I don’t even Like high elves personally. But i’m not gonna stand idly by while Alliance players and Horde players complain about “Who has what”
The real focus should be on ending the arbitrary and unnecessary faction divide, and just let people play whatever race they want.
Yes. The threads are ours. We create them. We are the ones that can edit them. No other forum users can. The mods can but that is simply part of their job when they do edit posts.
and yes. We can’t stop people from posting in opposition. That is what I was saying. We can’t stop you.
This does not however mean we must alter out initial post to include the anti’s viewpoint of things.
The EULA says otherwise, so, no, they really are not yours as much as you believe it to be.
This is also why the devs said they do not consider the forums seriously. They are often echo chambers.

I doubt blizz wants to end the faction divide.
You seem to be under the assumption the megathreads were created to host debates in the first place. Their entire purpose upon being created was to support the race they represent.
What you and other antis do is essentially walk into the middle of a football game and start yelling how much you hate football and love soccer. We can’t remove you from the thread (although we have no reason to in the first place). Just because you come in to express your viewpoint does not mean the purpose of the thread changes.

I’m not trying to argue about what blizzard wants. I’m stating my claim for the future health of the game. Removing the faction divide would fix most of the imbalance, and all content blizzard creates would be given to all the players.
Even better, Alliance players would finally get to play High Elves and shut up about it.

those elves are credited by jaina herself as being the elves that would make up the core of the sunreavers. the sunreavers were the elves that helped humanity discover magic and have been productive citizens of dalaran for thousands of years. this. is. stated. in. game.
this is backed by the fact the high elf prince spent most of his time there. its where he held court and even sat on the council of six, even after he was betrayed and dalaran was rebuilt. the sunreavers came back to help rebuild. they even rebuilt the high elf section exactly as it appears in a quest where kael is shown years ago. one of those high elves(who identified as blood elf) was aethas. this is backed by him being a member of the council of six as well
you have nothing to claim in dalaran. the SC are a political reactionary group of the blood elves. they are clearly exiled farstrider types with a couple like minded magisters simply shacking up in dalaran united under vereesa. formed to protect dalaran from possible treachery of the quel’thalas magisters under rommath, who cut ties long ago and might be still bitter about what they feel was betrayal, aethas is trying to reestablish relations with to bolster the kirin tor forces going into northrend
the only ‘high’ elves you have claim to are a couple in SW and boralus, stating anything else is a delusion

If we still consider the shen’dralar night elves, yes, nightborne are just night elves. They share the same culture with another group of night elves.
