Why High Elves Didn't Work - A Restrospective

Bloodelfs calling traitors to any race is just ironic.

Wtf u talking ? they are not like the bloodelfs . Some voidelfs are literally pure high elf get your information right.

I have the same feeling about bloodelfs player pretending to be high elves.

Boy it really grinds my gears when someone comes here just to try out an “I told you so” post.

The wayfarers haven’t been confirmed to be anything more than those interested in studying the void though, and the void elves we play as are former blood elves who got kicked out.

It’s possible that the wayfarers will be the explanation as to why we get more skin colors, but it hasn’t been confirmed just yet.

Void elves are not just exclusive for those bloodelfs who got kicked out.

Void elves in general are a mix of bloodelfs and high elves.

Now about the wayfarers will be the best reason for the skins tones.

The only one that wasn’t a blood elf first is Alleria. The ones caught in the ritual that Alleria saved them from were blood elves. Unless there’s new lore somewhere that I haven’t seen, they are open to those interested studying with them but haven’t found a way to replicate the process yet.

Remember when Alleria and Turalyon went through the portal ; a lot of high elves were with them so i dont believe Alleria is the only high elve void elf.

You mean the elves of Alleria Stronghold that are still hanging out in outland presumably? They weren’t even with Alleria when we found her on argus.

Why? Humans don’t define the High Elf story even before they became Blood Elves. Alliance high elves turned on their people for some of that human potential.

There are already three blue-eyed Blood Elves running around the Horde that we know of, get your information right. High elf defectors are just as real as high elf wayfarer converts.

At least you get to pretend too.

I think Blizzard will leave it to our interpretation so players can tell their own stories.

That’s pretty likely. Plus it’s less work.

The whole thing is such a mess it’s probably better at this point, though they should come forward and say that’s what they’re doing.

Yeah I think they would definitely need to say so.

Are you looking forward to any of the new customization options?

We’ll see. I’m glad we’re getting blue eyes, but not enthusiastic about getting jewelry in the exchange. Maybe we’ll get Darkfallen.

I wouldn’t mind if both got the purple eyes as well. I’d use them. I also will be disappointed if we don’t get tattoos because of jewelry. I like the bracers, the necklaces are a bit clunky though.

That was at the top of my list. Now that all this happened. I’d like to up it to Darkfallen and Light Forged options. I’d also like a pair of really bright green eyes. I just always felt that was missing.

So we forgot how bloodelfs were about to comeback to the Alliance in mop ? betraying at least 6 races ?or when in BFA they were ready to leave the horde again ?. Bloodelfs players and their alzheimer.

I havent seen those “3” elfs , maybe is a cheap argument but will search it.

I love the “too” ; the irony of bloodelf players .

No, they are their own thing and if the Horde is going to go on and commit warcrimes they are welcome to leave. They don’t owe the Horde participation in that. As it happened high elf traitors saw to them staying in the Horde! Luckily those other 6 races helped them betray…overthrow those regimes so they didn’t have to betray those 6 races.

Steelweaver is the the most well known one, there was even a tweet about him from the writers. In SL alpha all three were updated with green eyes at first then they were changed to the new blue. We don’t really know their story, but if I were a high elf in Dalaran during the Purge I might have decided humans weren’t worth betraying my people over and gone home. Granted those who were willing to immigrate over the manawyrm diet can’t be too keen on the void diet. Heck, Blood Elves have even changed their diet!

I detect a lot of hostility based on stereotyping my toon (which could explain why Alliance high elves appeal to you) but this is an alt, and my only Blood Elf.

Though, it seems like you’re on an alt too!

What is it with people who write superbad being helf fans?

Sir, the only reason High Elves didn’t join Sylvanas in MoP was because Vereesa didn’t want her son to live in the undercity.

I know he’s just another alt troll, but we don’t have to go there.
