Why has Spine of Deathwing still not been changed?

That’s a bummer but I would think that it’s very, very low on the priority list. Not everything can be catered to every disability. Especially very old content.

While I understand that, spine skip has been a much requested feature ever since the raid was able to be solo’d by more able minded people.

Welp…you just gotta deal with it. It’s old content that imo they shouldn’t be spending any resources on if it takes a lot of time to adjust. Good luck!

SoO was old content and it got a skip quite recently. Never say never my friend.

What’s up with these epic necros today?

I think people just relate strongly to past topics and instead of creating a new one to be buried they just want to support the original threads. That’s my hot take on the subject anyway.

All the people that didn’t know how to do it were kicked off from death wing so that made it easier eventually.

Heh, yeah, back then it couldn’t be soloed at all, and I didn’t think it ever would be soloable. Now? Any class can solo it. My, how times change, don’t they?

First thing to do is memorize the spawn order. It’s always the same order, and you should be one shotting pretty much everything at this point.

When the ship phase happens, quickly get in there, kill the mob in the middle, do the two southern crystals first, then the two northern crystals. Use whatever mobility you have in this phase here. Also remember you don’t need to stand still when using the crystals. You can keep moving while channeling, so just click it and immediately start moving to the next crystal.

Once ship phase is over, go back to killing waves. Once again, memorize the spawn order.

Soon the second ship phase will begin, and now is the most vital tip in soloing this fight: IGNORE IT. Seriously. Ignore the 2nd ship phase. You only need to board the ship once. Just keep killing waves. Eonar will end the fight before the ship fires.

I’m holding off on transmog runs until the transmog change. Spine is easy, you just have to respect the learning curve.

I’m a quadriplegic and i use a mouth operated controller to play, called Quadstick. It has a joystick and 3 holes, that you sip and puff into. You can assign each axis of the joystick, and each sip and puff combination to a key, and more, but anyway what matters is that it has one main limitation, you can’t move the camera and move your character at the same time. Which makes the encounter extremely hard or impossible to do. Since i became a quadriplegic I’ve been unable to try my luck at the Blazing drake. Here’s hoping the skip gets added in.
