Only reason is a lack of accountability. Once in a while is one thing, and happens. But week after week? That feels like a lack of accountability.

I don’t remember “the community” asking for the expansion to launch earlier than December 2024. You must be referring to their management and accounting departments.

I don’t understand why they can’t complete maintenance when most people would be sleeping. Why perform the maintenance in the middle of the day? I have asked myself this most Tuesdays since 2009.

The flipside is us paying customers with experience in the field telling you people, without experience in the field, that this isn’t service we have to accept, is pretty amazingly fun. Please stay on the forums defending a service you pay for - I bet you can get your post count above 30k just by weiner riding blizzard maintenance days.

tbh they are prob minmaxing profits by keeping the servers down as long as possible so they dont have to pay for upkeep for a few hours compared to 30-60 mins traditionally

the devs are trash compared to back in the day, bugs never get fixed just were working on it, apparently they are not. Tickets never get answered constant harrassment even though they have this pathetic social contract that they dont enforce. All went down hill with microsoft , like we didnt see that coming

If I had to guess, it’s turnover. They let people go with experience or they leave on their own. New people have to then deal with the problems that the experienced ones could handle. This expac also changed a lot about how the core of the game worked for many years with the account wide and cross-faction stuff. So there naturally will be big issues.
