Ret could probably press BoP, Divine Shield, Shield of Vengeance, and Divine Protection, and use a health potion and a healthstone instead of spending HP on WoG and you killed the boss faster
Spriest healing is really passive, pressing VE twice and Halo 3x is going to create a lot of healing. Should have been 40k HPS in that fight easily. On top of what Devouring Plague already gives them back with their refillable shield. Also has 2x dispersion which almost negate Earthshards entirely
That’s before you even get to Shamans healer CDs.
Did you guys stun the boss so it could stop spamming Earthshards or did you wait for it be 100 energy each time
I don’t know if it’s as much that they nerfed healing, but completely abandoned the traditional trinity, it’s dependencies and made a different game.
Tanks now heal, DPS now tanks, and the game is more a dance dance check than a healing, DPS, or mitigation check. And if anything goes south everyone but the tank dies and the tank will sit there fighting a boss solo for a couple minutes, hopefully not wasting everyone’s time by dying at the end.
I also understand she does 208,459 dps in a 20 Tyrannical.
Depends on kill times, but looking through logs the #5 shadow parse on the planet for that dungeon in a 20 on the same affix week that had similar times on the run and kill time of the boss and it was 30k hps.
I didn’t believe it when people said healers are rare now. But every time I log on to any character that is a healer in Valdrakken, if I stand around long enough, regardless of if my gear sucks, someone always ends up whispering me to come heal a key for them. It’s absolutely wild, I’ve never had that happen before this season.
Very simple. M+ pushing the whole healers need to help out by dealing dmg is the source. M+ gets to the point when mistakes are instant kills so healers don’t get to do anything but dps. so we aren’t doing the intended roles because of the threat.
