Why has healing been nerfed into the ground?

That boss healers don’t really struggle on. If you stopped healing, healers would do more as a result. It’s a first-come first serve basis.

You still want them to be viable to a point in world content.

I agree with some of what Adaia. Healers definitely need some tuning though. Or some bosses need nerfs.

You mean like a tank standing in a frontal, and bricking the key? yea that sucks.

Plenty of brezes used across the years on tank flubs. However, it’s not a consistent issue. Inconsistent issues aren’t a problem. Healing has been a consistent issue this season.

Bosses don’t need nerfs because +20 is so far below what the top players can achieve.

the “pure/hybrid” distinction is meaningless in terms of tuning and has been for a long time. like it or not, that’s not something they factor in, even if some people think they should.

Play with better players if you experience consistent issues.

I’ve stood in stuff and died on bosses multiple times, more so than actual healing checks.

Think only fight where stuff goes right but people can still die is Naraxas because of RNG with the thrown rocks.

I would be morbidly curious to see a parse breakdown from your hpriest, because we are actually in a very good place right now.

Granted I play casually this expansion and am no longer doing CE raiding, but the only situation i find i cannot keep up in is when a run is being overhealed (too many healers) and even I do fine. I feel like this has always been the case since our mastery gets cucked if there’s high over healing.

Also your dps theory is objectively incorrect unfortunately. Hpriest can parse the same as other healer classes and still be doing half if not less than half of the damage of other healers. I don’t find dps as punishing in m+ this season, and really as long as you’re doing well for your class and contributing what you can having low hpriest damage in raid is whatever.

just to be clear, a fight isn’t a healing issue if the healer died to some mechanic, and couldn’t catch up after being rezzed.

Any fight for a 5 man that requires 170K combined hps at a +20 from non tanks is a healing issue.

No, it just means numbers scale high. And that isn’t even a hard healing fight lol.

The first boss of freehold is harder to heal than the third boss of halls of infusion.

I’ll agree when M+ starts dropping mythic raid Ilvl at 20s then. Pinnacle of M+ is 20, it can drop the pinnacle of raid given the healing checks are the same with 1/4 the people and keys are make or break on healers now. They can throw 4 tier recolors our way too while they’re at it.

I’m sure it is, especially for your evoker.

60k combined between 2 dps really is not that much

why are you complaining about the hps healers do on a fight rather than a fight with actual difficulty?

The other three bosses in that dungeon alone are harder to heal.
