Its not a unique weapon to demon hunters. Sentinels use it, trolls where the first to use glaive weapons (voljin literally uses it), we have even seen a shadowlands angel use it.
Its not a unique to dhs at all. Why not let other classes use it?
It would fit very well with survival hunters, rogues, warriors, and enhance shamans.
The weapon has some of the coolest looks in game and its a shame its locked to one class.

It also one of the worst weapons to give to a blind guy.
A blind guy’s weapon should always be a stick a BIG STICK

A stick with lots of spikes and you just swing it around randomly and yell…

I can remember reading somewhere that Blizzard was going to open up the weapon type to other classes after Legion but clearly that never happened. I have never found the source of this claim since. So Idk if I am making things up or if it actually did exist.

Yeah why dont we have boomerangs and chakrams too?
Blizz wants them to be.
That’s really all there is to it.
I find it incredibly annoying that my warrior and rogue can’t mog the old legendary glaives, but DH’s can and they weren’t even in the game as a playable class when i first looted them lol

I can see other classes using them, specifically Warrior and Rogue.
With my maybe pile here: Monk and Paladin

Fun fact. DH was originally meant to be a vanilla/TBC class but got shelved for time. That’s probably why they shoehorned Illidaddy’s glaives to be classed as swords during TBC.
That is interesting, still unfair that the original classes that could use them aren’t allowed to mog them but a newer class can.

It’s just adds a unique edge to their class …
Would be cool for warriors to be able use them, at least a night elf.
I was expecting warrior to learn the mog like all the other weapons. Jokes on my curiosity when I tried.
Night Elves do get a glaive mog from their heritage quest that can be mogged as a sword, so at least there’s that.
I’d start up on how absolutely ridiculous I think WoW glaives are now, but this doesn’t seem like the right time and place for it tbh.

Nah a big throwable glaive is the perfect weapon to give a blind elf like whats the worse that could happen? They miss and murder a whole bunch of innocents

Exactly we need warglaives doe other classes. Im sure that was what wqs originally attended after legion but if i was to make a highly accurate, 99.9999999999% predicition id say blizz took a look at how much work the animations for each race would be and said “this is slightly more then a weekend project so no” since blizz is well known for taking rhe easy way out.
