To me it’s about the experience. I enjoy the game for the raids and playing with others.
Mounts, toys, even gear doesn’t matter. Gear matters only in helping to complete the raids.
Eventually I’m going to stop playing this game and none of these pixels will matter. Not the gold I earned. Not the armor I got. Not the achievements. None of it.
But I’ll always remember the experience and downing bosses with other players in the guilds I have been in.
There’s never an destination in this game. It’s always been the journey.
