Learn Spanish to bring you closer to the glorious Roman Empire
One thing I have learned over the years,
music never fails
Ok, keys might still get depleted,
but you all still had a good time doing it.
Or people could learn English in the primarily English group of servers.
“tried” to learn it in high school, but it was the last period in the day and I couldn’t stay awake. All I learned was numbers 1-10.
I mean Hasselhoff is just a beastly man, just look at him

Coming from a Brazilian whose native language is Portuguese… English is a comercial language, most nations teach English at schools and taking an English course adds a weighty validation to your résumé, so it makes sense that most nations would choose to learn English while North Americans stick to only one language.
Funny i speak fluent Spanish and not a single person in Brasil can understand me, i wonder why that is?
Manteca, bigotes, gigante, pequeño, la cabeza es nieve, cerveza es bueno.
The guy who invented soy milk was probably just trying to greet us with a beverage.
Learning Spanish was one of the most unenjoyable educational experiences of my life
Learning any language can be like that, at least going someplace or sitting down and having someone teach it to you. I learned almost all of my spanish in California from my best friend and roommate, also from his grandma when she would come over and stock our fridge.

Really simple, I could learn another language like Spanish or Brazilian Portuguese but as nobody where I live speaks either (barely any french speakers here and it’s an official language of my country) I would lose it just as fast as I learned it. As Alberta, Canada is predominately English and other languages are rarely , if ever , spoken retaining a second language would be hard. Since I stopped working for American companies I’m even becoming less fluent in American.
Skip the middle man and go for Latin, then.
tbh my high school screwed me over lol. When I was signing up for classes before freshman year, I asked if they had French(which both my parents took) and they said no. Half way through my sophomore year I realize I was lied to…smh. And that was the #1 or #2 public HS in Illinois, kind’ve a joke lol
No need to learn a second language when you can literally translate anything with an app on your phone. As for Rag players and the like, they are toxic for the most part.
Just so rude and negative all the time. No thanks,
I’ll accept the practicality in the compromise
I took the easy way out I’m a native German… and when I move to the states when I was a kid.
We had to take a mandatory language and I took German lol… and the sad part is I had to teach the teacher that was teaching German
And then all the students in the German class ask me not to how to pronounce our names in German not elegant German words no they wanted to know all the cuss words lol
Schöne grüße aus Mainz.
