This. The “new Night Elf city” is an expansion feature.
The writers did this. I am but a paying customer that wants cities. The writers can fix their mistakes by building a new Undercity and a new Silvermoon, and new Alliance cities as well, because that was also mistake.
Undercity hasn’t been rebuilt, they just made it so we don’t die when we go there. You can’t go into the Undercity. Silvermoon is only being rebuilt or overhauled because the writers/devs couldn’t imagine having Alliance player suffer in an out of date city.
I’m curious if you don’t realize that you can click an NPC and have all of the Undercity be accessible with the only difference being that instead of riding zeppelins you get instant portals to and from the places that were linked to UC.
So, why all the fuss about the Night Elf capital then?
No idea. The “gone is gone” mentality is strange when those that enjoy the layout or atmosphere of a city can still access them because timey-wimey shenanigans, unless the primary thing was that there isn’t anything new added to them (but to be fair, the last time anything new was added to cities beyond Org/SW were when they slapped the heirloom vendors into UC/IF).
It goes both ways. There is a 2nd level in the SW portal room. Go up and then the 2nd stairs and there is the portal to Belemeth
Sure, once we get two neutral Horde cities to match the two the Alliance now have.
Hey! You still playing?? Was just thinking about everyone
