I learned the other day that the Earthen who are Paladins are literally just the smiths that work the forges. Their only connection to the Light is the fact that they work with fire and molten metal. If that’s all it takes to make an Earthen a Paladin, the Freysworn can be druids.
Besides, Freya is Eonar’s representative on Azeroth and in WoW lore is credited with creating the Emerald Dream as well as being the conduit for Eonar’s power to make Ysera an aspect.
You don’t get much more of a connection with the ED than that.
