Why doesn't blizz tax the rich?

The difference is inorder to make those 1mil rolls i had to grind FOR HOURS picking herbs and crafting thousands of potions i then sold.

Also what kennie said, i could have easily lost all my gold xD.

What about the guy on the other end of the coin toss, is that not a reason to tax him? All I see happening in this scenario is the rich playing with the rich laughing as they keep the little guy down.

Some newbie with 20k to his name is outside their realm of awareness. Also them having gold doesn’t prevent him in any way from making gold, so, yeah.

Thats why u start small son! Gambling 101.
Start with 10k rolls and work your way up.

Very true, he’s probably addicted to potions and bleeds dry trying to make his way as a mythic raider.

Oh i dont mythic raid anymore. I just sell my stuff to em at like 300% mark up :P.

Yep, only what you can afford to lose. :dracthyr_comfy_sip: I remember a raider having to be benched because he’d go to those roll casinos and lose all his gold because he didn’t really have a strong grasp on mathematics.

It took 10 years but I’m up nearly 56,000% on an investment.

It’s refreshing to be able to see things from both perspectives. In game wealth I never had a problem with, but IRL I’m broke AF.

Hahaha yea, i must have made like an easy 2m off our main tank in legion. I feel bad but the guy just kept rolling /shrug. He was a good guy tho, miss you hark.

What about the people who drop feasts in raid finder. Not after a wipe but just in general, seems like a waste to give an entire palate to a raid that tomorrow wont even matter, don’t even get me started about dropping a cauldron…

That’s just a few hundred or thousand, though. :dracthyr_shrug:

As if Blizzard uses in game gold to support services within the game. Unless I misunderstood taxes.

I remember when I bought my first WoW Token in WoD, and sold it for 20,000 gold. I was so rich, I felt like rolling up on my motorcycle ballin and playing bad hip hop beats as I rode into battle.

Now, 20,000 gold ain’t worth squat :frowning:

They could sponsor somebody willing to put in the effort and jump through the efforts of mythic raiding though? I mean think of the satisfaction in knowing your good will allowed someone less fortunate than you to actually accomplish something of difficulty. Much more satisfying than spreading it among people who only squander their opportunity, imo

What would I stand to gain?

no bad stop encouraging gambling lol

This i kinda agree on, but i was the quartermaster of my mythic raiding guild. So i gave raiders pots/flasks/feasts out of my own pocket.
