Why does the Reddit community think they’re better than the Forums?

Yah, what he said… the bar is not set very high…

Nobody cares of reddit lolz not even EA

Garmuck, is that you? I coulda swore this was posted before in Classic forums lol. Nicer alt.

blizzard pretty much does the same thing. most silences and suspensions are up to the mod’s discretion, if they don’t like a word you used (even if it’s not a bad word), bummer

Lucky for us they never will.

Let’s have an intelligent coversation about the number of build permutations you can make per each class and which one has the least possible builds?

aw. it’s so cute that you still believe this. cute in a naive kind of way

I’ll just keep enjoying my mage tower stuff that people will never be able to obtain, just like my sweet horde war bike, keep living in your delusions though it’s cute.

I feel that its more relaxed here. While what you say isn’t wrong, the power tripping isn’t as prevalent here.

It seems reddit moderators are on a power trip.

I dont think one is superior to the other per say, however, at least on reddit theres some continuity and accountability. For example, youre entire reddit post and comment history is available to the world to see so theres some form of protection against disingenuious trolling.
-Like posting an inflammatory LGBT bait post and your post history is on r/Whitelivesmatter or r/conservative, the thread can be nipped in the butt.

while on the forums ppl can hide behind fake toons and level 1s and classic lvl 1 to dodge any form of accountability.

People on Reddit often have a superiority complex.

Opposing opinions are silenced.

Because reddit is home to all the narcissists on the internet. Their mods are 10x worse.

The soy is strong on that platform too. Why even have discussion boards if you get canned for having an opposing opinion?

Don’t forget the kinds of people who use reddit, let’s just say that site is where they get the majority of their social interactions.

It’s not even an argument. Subreddits devolve into moderators banning/hiding opinions they don’t like, until it’s eventually just people updooting the same things, while opinions outside the hive are downdooted into oblivion.

Legitimately one of the most awful platforms on the internet at the moment.

I feel like only the WoW community would try and min-max the best and worst complaint board.

Which makes a platform invalid for discussion.

Because it’s spot on true. It already happened over the fel drake, just like it does over everything on these forums. They should shut them down.

A broken clock is right twice a day too. However, it’s mostly useless.
