Why does everyone cause a problem within games

Get a life

The fundamental problem is that not everyone enjoys the game in exactly the same way that you do.

And that’s not a problem, that’s just a fact of life. People differ. You can either accept that and adjust, or you can rage at a computer monitor and have high blood pressure. One of those is healthier than the other.

Come on man, you are making it way too obvious. Do you need troll lessons or something?

That part of your reply tells me exactly what type of person you are.
the game’s design has never changed, people like you changed how they want the game to be so there is a difference between what you want and how the game is.

Well I do believe everyone is in one big friggen hurry. I don’t do M+ anymore but when I do my 5 TWs I learned to follow the tank and all the mobs he pulls no matter what, once the tank stops with 30 trash mobs on him that’s when healing time begins, sometimes the tank is faster then me so im running toward him in a pile of mobs that are totally ignoring me and hopefully the dps as well, 0 deaths today when I did my 5 but its not always the case, sometimes the tank is not as tanky as he thinks he is.

Nobody said Hi or anything to anyone except once when all 5 stayed for the next TW and it took 2 minutes and someone said “Why is this not insta queue??”

WoW has become World of JG Wentworth
877 Loot Now

Firstly i have never boosted a character. I level everyone from character creator manually.

Secondly i try not to disparage games im playing. If im treated unfairly or whatnot i just leave. Anything i post here is either a commentary, a reply or some nonsensical rhetoric meant to be entertaining.

Sometimes ill post something ive been trying to accomplish or other things of similarity. I think people who post criticisms for the sake of dissuading others or just to promote antagonism should have no place.

No one cares.

I didn’t read your post, but I completely agree with the above sentence. Although people playing less was/is at least partly caused by blizz’s poor design and balance and general neglect of things. So it’s a cycle that feeds itself…

Have you tried Skyrim? Morrowind maybe?

Why are you causing this problem by not playing the game?

Good. It’s my loot and I want it now!

I’m gonna go an a tangent here (because OP seems to be mostly talking about how people should enjoy grinding from level 1 to max level in classic WoW or something) and say:

Yeah.
Boosting is a massive problem in modern WoW.

Blizzard has fostered an environment where no one has to earn anything, new players are shoved into a carry spam advertisement wind tunnel as soon as they touch a Capital City, and players trying to actually play have to contend with people who can “prove” they have experience they don’t actually have because they spent real money.

Speaking of which, this all feeds into the game becoming more and more P2W over time. Yes, carries have always existed, as well as power leveling and all of that, even back in Vanilla. But the difference is scale. WoD introduced the WoW Token. This cracked the door open a bit, as people could either buy the token on a server where they can easily find a carry, or carry sellers could accept payment off-realm and simply convert that gold to their home realm by caging battle pets and selling them there.

Then Legion came along and allowed the conversion of WoW Tokens to BNET Currency, effectively allowing sellers to accept payment on any realm and have the ability to convert that to gold on their own realm with no effort and no risk on their part.

That’s when carry spam blew up, and not really a second before that. That’s when it became a problem.

WoW is now a game where your experience (assuming you aren’t in a CE Guild clearing Heroic week 1 or 2) is dramatically improved by paying $20 for a WoW Token to pay for a carry early, to more easily get invited to groups afterward.

It’s all bad. It’s something Blizzard should have put their foot down on, but instead they enabled it, and then later on actively endorsed it via the Company’s President publicly advertising their own guilds’ carry runs and then adding the auto-joined Services channel to the game soon after (which is SPECIFICALLY for carry spam, they have specified that Profession ads go in regular Trade Chat).

Progressing through your own efforts no longer means anything unless you’re competing in the World First Race. And it’s a direct result of how carry culture has been allowed to become the norm, instead of remaining a niche thing average players rarely encounter.
