Why does Blizzard hate Night Elves that much?

Joking not trolling. Lol

Night Elves are much prettier.

Not the same thing. Following this formula, 2 more expansions and you’ll get your request.

FWIW, I wish they’d do this for all the races but they run a bare minimum amount of developers who don’t really have time to focus on anything much besides the current expansion. It is my opinion that this is the root of majority of issues with this game.

Where?

Elegy and the fact that 3 night elf zones plus their capital got wiped out.

In what world? :open_mouth:
Definitely not after the shadowlands customizations

Is there a difference anymore?

Shadow’s Rising book.

What are you talking about? How does either of those say we saved “5-10% of NE souls”? Or that the majority were “forged into weapons”?

You know, if a game makes your character commit atrocities, but they treat it like a good thing in-game, then that’s practically an endorsement from the devs.

Remember how in WC3 the night elves stood out because they were mostly a matriarchal society where the women were warriors? And how they were so effective in combat that it even impressed the orcs? Remember how just stepping foot in their forests could cause you to become a pin cushion? It’s too bad we never got those Night Elves for WoW.

I never did like the two faction system, and I would have preferred the 4 (or more) we got in WC3. In my dream scenario players would still be able to play with whoever, but going into another faction’s stronghold or zone would be risky business.

When I see a topic that starts with “Why does blizz hate ____” My eyes just kind of glaze over at this point. Do you really think they sit around at meetings and say: “I hate elves!, does anyone here really like elves? no? Hey let’s screw elves over real good! Mwahahaah!”

So the Night Elves made Hyjal their official new home? Where is that stated? Also they still don’t have a city and no population left.

Because we saved around 95 in the Night Fae campaign while around 1000 died in Teldrassil, and many more in Ashenvale and Darkshore.
We also know that the jailer forges souls into weapons and it happened with some night elf souls already.

The night elves and the genocide that happened to them are just a vehicle to push the Tyrande storyline. That’s how Blizzard writes stories: it’s about the heroes and faction leaders – the little people don’t matter. It’s very Disney-like. And Tyrande is going to continue getting a fair amount of limelight this expansion.

In-game numbers do NOT represent actual lore.

But how does that prove the majority gets turned into weapons? We even see the opposite, they get formed into a monstrosity so obviously they have more purposes than just weapons.

Ones an attempt at humor, the other is an attempt to be an… Donkey…

I think it’s a difference.

You misspelled Sylvanas.

The way Blizzard have set this up is that Tyrande is the flip side of the coin of Sylvanas. There can’t be an end to one’s storyline without repercussions for the other.

Replacing all those mail boxes they dance on all the time isn’t cheap…hic!

You don’t need to be level 60 to dance. Now get up on that mailbox and start making me that gold!! Chop chop!

Is it time for this thread again already?

Can we go back and burn down the tree again?

I think at this time burning down that tree is like beating a dead Blanche…hic!
