All I’m saying is that it’s very rare the twenty spawn thing actually comes into play.
We should be spawning at frost wolf instead though. And alliance should be spawning at Aid Station.
The more I play the more I realize alliance really are bad. Like, terrible. All the more reason the Horde does NOT need a handicap.
And I’m all done! No more AV for me!

The Alliance graveyard respawn logic is also very flawed. Dying near Snowfall or anywhere on the left side of the map if SH is contested causes the respawn to be at Aid Station even if Stormpike GY is held. Dying near Stormpike causes a respawn at the cave rather than Aid Station even if it is held which hamstrings the much-hyped dun baldar bridge defense, causing Alliance defenders spawn on the wrong side of the lines of battle if they attempt to push out. Although small inconveniences, these realities also slow down Alliance defense and regrouping if they are on the backfoot during a match.
The problems with AV are multiple aspects working in tandem against the Alliance; namely the strong AFK culture given the short queues and rare punishment, the abandonment of AV by the serious alli PvP crowd - who have all since moved to WSG, and the map disadvantages faced by Alliance given that this is the altered version of the map only in-game in actual vanilla for a scant few months before TBC which was subsequently boycotted until it was further changed during that xpac.
Frankly, I think that enthusiasm for AV will plummet after the release of AB and the majority of people who participate going forward will be there for exalted rep rewards more than anything else rather than those seeking competitive PvP, even moreso than the situation currently.
Because horde are just so amazing at pvp thats why.
Actually its multiple reasons. Hordes starting point is much further in the map then alliance. They have multiple advantage points in AV. They have a lot more skilled pvprs. They have better racials then alliance. Should I keep going?
