I was born in 1964. My folks were born in the 1920s. Lets be real here. They would be over 100 if alive. People didnt start having kids till after college and into their 30s back then.

You also dont have much common sense. Im sorry but it had to be said. When you are dealing with someone currently in their 60s when we are about 5 months from 2024. You would have about a 98% chance of being right if you assume their folks are no longer around. I mean come on.
Its seems like you have something stuck in your gears. I would work on pulling that out so your gears can start clicking again. Sorry if that was harsh but Im brutally honest.
Mostly as a comfort thing. Got so used to the game it just kinda makes me feel at peace.

“Common sense” isn’t making conversational assumptions based on statistics. That’s silly. I made assumption based on context.
Many, many 60 year olds still have living parents. Idk where you got that 98% chance I’d love to see a source for it.
I’d say most of the people I know who are 50-60 still have at least one living parent. Including my own grandparents.
Some do, and some don’t. I have personal experience with both scenarios.

Have you done the math on this? Anyone who is 60 and older who has parents which are still alive? Their parents would have had to have had their kids before at or before the age of 20. We are talking about the late 50s/early 60s here. That was HIGHLY uncommon. You could have just said “Dang. I really wasnt thinking” and no one would have thought less of you and I would have had nothing I could have said back. But instead you kept making up excuses for your complete lack of awareness.
Im sorry if this sounds harsh but Im being brutally honest with you trying to get you to see the complete lack of logic behind some of your statements.
