Why do worgens forget how to run on all fours while inside?

Yarr. Server was just too small. We kept hitting attrition numbers part way through a patch and there just wasnt anyone to recruit. So as a guild we moved.

Yeah. What started as a legitimate question turned into a bunch of dog jokes.

Hardwood floors. I don’t think so.

Who’s a good boy?

After the model update, I tested out with one of my characters. Not my most powerful doggo, but my spriest doggo. Turns out, they became a four-legged mailbox. Thankfully, their legs break in all the right ways so they won’t actually be giving anyone any upskirts.

Maybe it has to do with leg shape. Given how Worgen legs are built, they should be able to run faster than humanoids with legs and feet structured like a human’s. But on that note, the walk and run animations need adjusted accordingly. Especially for Worgen females. Their run is too stiff legged. It’e like I’m running with scuba flippers on my feet.

Something a little more fluid would be nice. The Sethrak run animation is pretty fluid and they had similarly structured legs for example.

I think Darkflight is a happy medium. It gives Worgen speed when they want to outrun most other humanoids or similarly paced creatures but don’t need the full blown gallop of Running Wild.

Adding onto this, playable worgens were posh Gilneans before they became afflicted with the worgen curse. From a lore standpoint, I’d imagine they largely retain their human habits and manners since they’re in control of their condition.

According to my research, it has to do with genes and instincts.

Goldrinn tried to do that with Elune and she scolded him so bad he never did that again. So that’s why you guys cannot run on all fours indoors.

I still think it’s pretty sad that a serious question was reduced to a joke with almost every reply. Go make dog jokes somewhere else, it just seems incredibly disrespectful.

Have you seen their top hats? They’re too cultured to run around on all fours inside.

1 year later.

FYI, necromancy is frowned upon here.

Why does my character not have the ability to transform into a dragon in the Maw? (Sandstone Drake)

Because Blizzard logic makes no sense.
