Why do we need 1-3 hour cooldowns for toys?

Fun!? In a videogame!?! Poppycock! Away with you, 10h CDs for all toys decrees blizzard the police of fun!

Not really… burgy blackheart’s trinket has an instant cooldown and lasts indefinitely. Time lost mariner has a 2 hour cd and lasts 10.

I think it’s ridiculous. Especially shapeshifting toys or costume toys. I believe they shouldn’t have cooldowns at all.

I can understand putting cooldowns on toys that have a “functional” purpose, I suppose, like teleports or mailboxes etc. Or even for things like tents or w/e, so you can only place the next tent down after the first one expires.

But I don’t understand putting super long cooldowns on toys that are purely cosmetic. Like a 30-60 cooldown maybe to prevent spamming, sure, but several hours??? So unnecessary.
