Why do trinkets today have 2 full paragraphs worth of equip and on use?

Just trying to give the shortest possible version of that trinket’s effect.

I can kind of see where the OP is coming from. WoW devs do have a habit of making simple things unnecessarily complicated.

Is reading hard?

Evidently yes.

I know exactly what my trinkets do. This is a “I don’t want to read so everyone must adjust to me” post if I ever saw one.

This.

Active trinkets are where Blizz basically trolls its playerbase because its something something bis something something I need it cause my class does half the damage as others without it something something Blizz then nerfs it 2 weeks later after everyone gets it something something lmao.

Resto druid here and most of our stuff is fire and forget especially tyrstone. You can even use it in the capital city cap it out and leave it as the store will last even if you log out. Resto druid is just pre hot go cat and dps popping trees when required.

Sunday sunday sundaaaayyy

You wont die reading a sentence.

To be fair, they are becoming pretty lengthy. But i also don’t mind.

Example, current raid trinket.

“Your melee attacks and abilities have a chance to viciously brand your target, dealing 28680 Fire damage over 6 sec, and grant you Firestarter, stacking up to 15 times. Damage increased per stack to a maximum of 11472.

While above 5 stacks, also deals 50% of its damage to you. At 15 stacks, enemies near your target suffer 10% of the damage dealt split between them. Firestarter decays every 5 sec while out of combat and fades entirely after 15 sec.”

I would vendor that in a heartbeat.

Just my opinion, but I very much dislike stuff that damages me.

I prefer them over Madeline Roux so I wouldn’t mind.

Please just trade it, the trinket is bis and the damage you take isnt really bad at all

I know you were being sarcastic with that dictionary reference! Lol You’re not wrong, /grin I read them, think to myself: whatever. Try to find a passive one - then if not put it on a keybind and usually forget to use it. Yeah, I think the trinket system is kinda dumb, not you. :butterfly:

I don’t raid, so I would never get that particular one anyway. There are a couple others out in the open world that also damage you as well, and I vendor them too.

I’m sorry but lmao, trinkets are not hard to figure out at all.

Which trinket has more than 2 sentences?

If you think trinkets have too long descriptions, you should not be anywhere near a Role Playing Game. A quest based one at that.

You’d most likely be here complaining if every trinket was just +stat for 15sec. Extra effects are good, variety is good. Don’t really understand the problem.

How short is your attention span if you can’t read about 30 words?
