Why do some people fill +10's so slowly?

It’s just a 10 bro, it’s not that serious. You’re just wasting your time if you’re waiting 15+ mins for 715+ ilvl, 3k+ rating, meta specs to sign up

I wondered the same thing until we invited a 690 tank blue score who pulled one pack at a time in eco dome. I’m sure it was a one off thing but I agree 10’s really aren’t that serious

I would really like to support this, but to be honest it’s such a pain to heal 25-2600 DPS. They don’t use defensives, don’t use their CC even when their kick is on CD, they usually finish with single digit kicks (and don’t prioritize things that do major damage when they do kick). Even 3k players usually have subpar kit usage, but at least they do 6-8M overall DPS so things die faster.

And it’s not even that healing the DPS who don’t use their kits is super hard, but when you finish a dungeon and look at details to see you did your best to make the run enjoyable and some Ret pressed Rebuke 4 total times, it kind of pisses you off.

This week for example, when I play Ret or Shadow I always get my own debuff (also MD on Shadow) and while it’s not a big deal as Rsham (poison cleanse, or ancestral and toss a couple chain heals go next) just the sheer lack of people who actively try to do anything but faceroll DPS is just kind of insulting.

Anyway, I would say that’s why people heavily screen their groups. People get IO scores where they should be more than adequate, but the playerbase just largely shows they’re lazy and that makes runs less efficient/fun than they could be. I’m sure those 3k people would love to fill groups in 5 seconds and get going otherwise.

If you have to ask this, chances are you’re the reason.

I’m talking about groups that I’ll have seen listed 15 minutes ago and then see them 15 minutes later with 0-1 new people invited

I go through something similar around +6 to +8. My Warlock has already timed an Echo ++8, but I still struggle to get invited. Sometimes I even get declined for Echo +6 or +7 runs, even when there are still two DPS spots open, lol. It feels like people only want players who’ve already timed keys way higher than the one they’re pugging.

once the key starts, it’s impossible to fix any mistakes you made when forming the group. So you have to set yourself up to win before the key starts.

This is why the system does not belong in an MMORPG. Blizzard could design an excellent co-op dungeon runner Action RPG… that’s nothing but dungeons and raids and scenarios.

Usually because the keyholder assumes everyone with his rating is as bad as he is.

If they’re trying to push their key to a 12, waiting 15 minutes for overqualified applicants and 2 chesting the 10 saves them the time of having to reform and run the 11.

They could also be looking for specific classes to try and do loot stacking.

Or they’re just afk.

Some people are picky about affix classes too, like this week it’s that crappy healer affix that you have to dispel, so people bring multiple dispel classes to make it easier. :man_shrugging:

It’s not a healer affix. It’s for more than half of the classes in any role.

In a perfect world, yes. In reality, healers are left to deal with it most of the time lol. At least in lower quality keys.

Like adventuring said it’s easily healed out of, can have some bad overlapping with heavy damage phases. The rare dps that handle it are amazing and I wish more would. Hence inviting appropriate score people

Queued M+ would solve this problem at all key levels.

People just don’t want warlocks. It’s been the worst M+ class since BFA. Bad at low keys because of ramp time. Bad at high keys because of lack of utility. No lust, no raid buff. Their raid utility is almost always useless in M+.

They slow fill to maximize their chances at success. If you dont like how long it’s taking you can leave the group.

Healthstones and battle rez.

The best dps by a landslide for half of SL.

Warlocks are solid for where the vast majority of players play and I love having one in the group.

Because no one wants a survival hunter that does 50 mill dps.

Because I don’t wanna be trapped in a vault key with bads.

Healthstones useless, every class has battle res if they want it.

Yes there was 1 season in SL where destro did insane damage, and that is the only time since BFA that Warlock has been a meta class.

Warlock has been the worst class overall for M+ since BFA.
