I never bring gender issue here, im just stating it felt weird for me to find people flirting with a random person that might be much much older than them, then you proceed to say my comment is stupid.

It might be understandable in RP forum tho.

Because they don’t want to use the provided Roleplaying forums, thereby making it all the more likely that Blizzard institutes using BTags as forum personas or otherwise make good on their threat to use RealID as their forum persona…

Dude, it is a figure of speech! Haven’t you ever heard of, “ask stupid questions, get stupid replies?” Well, it is the same similar thing here on the forums as well.

And while I do find it gross that some people do flirt with others much older than them, honestly, it isn’t really any of my business what people do with there lives. I just live with mine and nothing else matters.

That’s the beauty of ROLE PLAYING it doesn’t matter your gender, race, sexual orientantion. You are role playing your persona. If you take issue with that then I feel sorry for you as you are playing a role playing game :man_shrugging:

Not everyone play this game for roleplay, in fact there’s only a few roleplay server compared to PVE-PVP server.

I respect roleplayer that roleplay in roleplay subforum, i hope you also respect that some people in General Discussion that isnt as deeply absorbed into their ingame character.

How can you be surprised that people playing a MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) would indulge in RP on the forums dedicated to discussing the game? For one, it’s never a good idea to reveal one’s real life personal information…so when they refer to themselves, what do you expect them to do?

I have to ask; if you aren’t playing WoW to get enjoyment out of imagining yourself to be the heroic adventurer your character represents, why do you do it? Wouldn’t a combat shooter be more your style?

Everything you do in this game, from questing, to doing dungeons, raids, PVP, everything, is role playing. Gosh, Role Playing doesn’t mean go to Goldshire Inn on Moon Guard.

Oh trust me, doesn’t matter if the prizes are stupid or the game is stupid, I’ll still play with anything.

Absolutely! Unless you claim to be a dark elf warlock in real life, that is exactly what you are doing; playing at being something you are not, which is the literal definition of ‘role-playing’.

As an aside, where are all these forum role-players? I can’t say that I have noticed many. The ones that I have seen seem to be more tongue-in-cheek than anything. Have I been blind?
