Fantasy is key here.
I guess I’ll give a serious set of answers.
First.
For me it’s because the female models simply wear most of the armor significantly better and the swing/cast animations look better on most to me anyways.
Second.
I am in complete control over my masculinity, I’m not fragile or offended by the other sex in any form be it virtual or otherwise. So playing as one has zero impact on my supposed manliness.
Third and final.
I literally look like a freaking hairy lumberjack that could pass for a blood relation to cousin It from adams family. Maybe I don’t wanna role play as a sweaty bearded dude as I already irl role play that.
And to end on that note if anyone asks I always tell them I’m a dude. Not about to have the moves put on me by some thirsty person. Unless, they are that kinda orc.
